Bed and Breakfast Il Grillo di Firenze - Florence

I stayed only one night and it was a great experience... parking can be complicated, but the place worth it. The onwer is very nice and helpful. I would definetelly recommend it. Easy access in bus to the old town.

Had a nice stay in Florence- having Lara to help us navigate the city was helpful, and we had plenty of space in our room and easy access to the bathrooms. Enjoyed a nice picnic on the porch at sunset, and gelatto from the shop downstairs twice daily! Breakfast was adequate.

We were here a few days, and Lara was great! She was so welcoming and friendly. Once we got to the B&B, she welcomes us with a glass of water and let us cool down before giving us information. And she was more than willing to give us information on things to do and see in Firenze, and even gave us brochures on tours and the city buses. Shes super talkative, but it was great because it made us feel relaxed. About 20 min walk to Santa Maria Novella, but theres 2 bus lines that stop right in front of the hotel that take you there. And there's wifi. We were on the courtyard side of the building so our room was quiet, except for the occasional crying baby somewhere in the building.

We enjoyed the B&b and more importantly the friendly owner Lara, she really made our stay a Fantastic Stay

Our impressions from Grillo di Firenze are excellent. This is a B&B, where you feel really at home. The hosts Lara and Lorenzo are a young, intelligent and very cooperative couple. They do their best to make your stay in Florence agreeable. Our room was spacious with a terrace and a beautiful view to the surrounding mountains. The place was nicely arranged and very clean. In addition, it is supplied with WiFi. The breakfast was typical for Italy: it consisted of high quality Italian coffee, juice, brioches, etc. Parking the car was not a problem in the vicinity of the building. There is a convenient bus link with the historical center, which is a pedestrian area only. In summary, I highly recommend Grillo di Firenze as a nice and safe place to stay in Florence.

Lara the owner was very friendly and helpful. We prefer en-suite bathroom but even though we shared a bathroom, other guests never interfered with our use of the bathroom. We would recommend this B&B.

My husband and I found the B&B great!, the place was spotless. It is walkable to the main part of the City. Great for couples retreat. The hosts are very friendly and informative.

Il'Grillo is a very clean and spacious B&B. Lara is kind and helpfull. The B&B is a short bus ride from the train station. It wasn't a problem. There is a supermarker and a good restuarant close by. If I ever travel to Firenze again I would stay there.

When I'll go back to Firenze, I am definitely staying here again! B&B is spotless, rooms and bathroom perfectly clean, owner is very friendly and ready to help, wifi is fast, definitely an excellent price for money. There is a very good restaurant next door to the B&B, called "Senza Nome", which was suggested by the the staff at the B&B. The B&B is located a couple of km away from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, but it is well connected to it with two bus lines (22 and 57) which run very frequently until midnight.

Friendly guy. Everything was ok. Just it's difficult to reach by train if you stop at Firenze campo di marte. And it's more far than 10 minutes by foot or 2 minutes by bus from the central train station (city center). Maybe 10 minutes by bus and 25 by walk.

Très bon accueil, prix attractif et prestations très satisfaisantes (malgré que la salle de bains soit partagée avec les autres clients) L'absence de parking oblige à garer son véhicule dans la rue et à veiller à alimenter le parcmètre pour la journée(attention également au changement de côté du stationnement à partir du jeudi)
