This is a wonderful oasis in the middle of Florence and Christina was extremely helpful to us. The location was excellent and the suites were totally charming. We look forward to staying here again as we travel to Florence.

We stayed at the Relais Grand Tour Suites for two nights in the Mirrors Suite and then another six nights in the Actor Suite at the end of March. We enjoyed our stay immensely! I am a very meticulous person and researched hotels/B&B's extensively before reserving our rooms. I felt so confident in my choice that I booked our six night stay prior to arriving for our two night stay. We were not disappointed. The suites are located on this lovely outside garden area on the back side of the building. I have a very difficult time sleeping when away as outside noises interrupt my sleep very easily. The Grand Tour Suites are exceptionally quiet; we experienced no outside noise and noise from adjacent rooms was negligible. Giuseppe and Christina are extremely nice. An example: we returned to our room one night to find a note on our door from Christina recommending a panini place to us because she knew we liked paninis. I would recommend Grand Tour Suites to anyone looking for a superb, quiet, quality place to stay!

Wow! What a fabulous choice I made with Grand Tour Suites. I had mild concern because I have never strayed from large hotels with concierge service, restaurant, bar, etc. But Christina and Guiseppe were perfect hosts and took care of my every whim. My suite was large and inviting. The entire property was charming and obviously restored and decorated with loving care. An easy walk to any and everything one could want, but tucked away in a safe and quiet neighborhood...location was ideal. My suite (Diva) came equipped with refrigerator, kettle/tea and coffee service, computer and free web access, king bed, sitting area, large bathroom, in room safe, additional twin bed that blended into the sitting area without being obtrusive, and a decor that makes one feel right at home, yet special. Fresh fruit baskets and coffe, tea, buscuits and jam are replenished daily and breakfast is served at a charming cafe a very short walk away. I hope to return and can easily recommend Grand Tour Suites to others.

Owners and personnel are very nice and obliging people. The extra facilities such as the sauna/massage shower cabin are quite nice. The breakfast was very italian, and very good. The Diva room has maybe a little bit too much furniture for our taste, but otherwise nicely done. The room window opens to an internal terrace so getting fresh air in is rather difficult, but that's the only downside really.

The apartment(hotel)owner, he was really helpful for letting us know good restaurants and where to see in Firenze. Only one thing, it will be better if we can pay with credit cards since we don't want to bring lots of money for it(it's not safety). Anyway, we really enjoyed to stay there. Grazie mille!

this was a very pretty room- the diva suite was where we stayed but. you have to pay in euros which i don't think is the most convient. the staff was not around all the time. also you have to unlock three doors to get in. my biggest problem however was being bothered repeatedly by email about my arrival time. i had already stated at least twice that i would be traveling so i would call when i knew. this happened to my sister before she arrived as well. i guess i prefer a hotel with someone at the desk at all times so i wouldn't recommend this.

This is a great B&B in Florence. The owners, Cristina and Giuseppe are friendly and helpful. We stayed in the foyer apartment, which was very large and comfortable. The B&B is in a nice location that is far enough away from noise but still a very easy walk to everything you would want to see.

Easy walk from SMN station. Very good welcome and advice on where to go and what to see. Tickets offered to go to a nearby 'cafe' to have breakfast. Had resevations on as first time we have experienced such a method. However, when we went to the cafe the breakfast provided and hospitality of staff was excellent. The suite is in a pefect location to visit many of Florence's treasures and churches etc. We had the Golden Suite that was just like the photos and more. The jacuzzi room with some limited 'keep fit' equipment was very relaxing. Don't be put off by the musty smell, as the brick room does absorb the jacuzzi vapour and can't be smelt upstairs in the main room. We would certaintly want go there again as there is so much to see. Beware of the mad drivers of cars, motor bikes and bicycles. If you have daughters in their late teens plus don't let the near Mui Mui (higher grade than Prada) unless you have the money!!

For someone who does not want hotel-type amenities, this is a perfect place to stay in Florence. It was on a busy street, but very quiet. The location is convenient to all the sights in Florence.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in April 2006. The Mirrors Suite was very nice. Some of the others (we peeked in when they were empty) looked even nicer. The common semi-outdoor (covered by skylight-type overhang) patio was a very nice place to enjoy a lunch fresh from the central market. The location was very good. We found Florence to be very walkable. The breakfast comes with an option of pastries in the room or a credit at the local coffee shop. We chose the latter, and it was very good.

It was pleasant to stay in this little B&B. Furnished with antiques and appears to be special. Could be too quite at night to even talk with your companion. Suite will be next to try.

The Grand Tour is a truly amazing experience. I was in the Golden Suite for just one night...it's beautiful! And there's also a real little kitchen, where you can cook by yourself and have a romantic dinner with your girlfriend (and you can save money, too!). Cristina, the owner, is such a kind person... Actually we arrived on saturday and had to check out the day after, on Sunday...but, since there were no clients on schedule for the next day, Cristina told us we could use the suite the whole day long...and so we did: we checked out on sunday at 8 Pm! The Jacuzzi is wonderful. Also, I've checked the double rooms upstairs. Quite nice. If you're going for a double, I suggest the violet one: it is bright, with a lovely view over roofs and little gardens. For the price you pay this B&B, I bet you won't find anything better in Florence.
