Bed and Breakfast Giglio Bianco - Florence

Extremly welcoming property, great food, great help for organizing trips and museum visits. A really good option to discover Florence and it's food.

This was our first trip to Florence. Giglio Bianco was a great place to stay, just minutes from everything. Edoardo and Varinia were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. And the food..... you definitely need to eat there one night and experience one of Varinia's Special meals!! By far, one of the best meals we had the whole time we were in Italy. There are only 2 rooms, so the service is very personal and friendly. I highly recommend Giglio Bianco!

Eduardo & Varina were both very wonderful and gracious. The room was warm, private and comfortable. Just down the street from Pitti Palace. I felt very safe there in the neighborhood. Breakfast was great. The meal that Varina prepared was fabulous. They could use a new computer though, as their guest computer was a little touchy. I would stay there again, and will when I'm back in Firenze.

Giglio Bianco lives up to its reputation. Eduardo is respectful of your plans and privacy while being very helpful. The food prepared by Varinia was excellent, as well as the setting. The BnB is far cheaper than most hotels and thus the value is superior. The BnB is a 7 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, 12 to the Piazza Republicca/Uffizi. The 37 bus takes you from the BnB all the way to the train station or you can make the 25 minute walk. I will stay here again.

Varinia and Edoardo were the perfect hosts! Varinia is an excellent cook and went out of her way to make our stay the best of our trip. The bed was extremely comfortable, to add to the positive experience. They're located across the street from the Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens, so the location was good.

The location is ideal. We had a 3-course dinner that was fantastic!

Clearly a great spot to feel home and enjoy a warm sense of hospitality ! The nice couple who runs the place is not cheap on useful advices, and their taste is very interesting. We loved this place !

It is important that you bring a copy of this email because the difference between this quoted price and the one located in the room is over 150 euros difference.It is quoted at 100 euros here and in the room was quoted as 250 euros a night. But it would be worth it either way. Bring a copy of the quoted price and all is well. Best people and breakfast you will find in firenze.

Such a wonderful experience! Every morning we had a wonderful breakfast, we stayed in a very nice room with a wonderful view and don't miss a perfect tuscan dinner! A+

Only two rooms, feels like staying with friends. Edoardo and Varinia couldn't be more helpful!
