The residence was empty while we were there, so it was really quiet. But the rooms are good and clean, the mattress was excellent, the tenant extremely welcoming. First time that I've been in such a residence with no room service, but I'd go back again for its exellent location and good comfort. The deco is also very different from all these standardized hotels that I usually go to while in business trip, that I guess if I had to go to Florence for business, I'll stay there.

The owner left for Rome as we arrived and I believe that the staff was just a bit lax in the wake of her departure. The room was perfect size for us, but had a view of walls. The name for our room was weird, the Camel Room and it had a pack of cigarettes on the mantel. A turnoff for non smokers, though it did not smell of smoke. On the other hand it was very quiet and dark at night. The hotel has an aura of strength, almost like a castle, though we stayed in other places that were less expensive and equally pleasant.
