Via Dell Albero 13 - Florence
877-662-6988Casa Corsi has been recently renovated, its style is simple and discreet: white walls, Tuscan cotto floors, wooden furniture. There are three double rooms, one room with en-suite bathroom and tv, an ample living room with tv, a bathroom with special needs facilities; wi-fi and wireless services are also available.

Casa Corsi is well located and Roberta (the hostess) a very nice and helpful person. She gave us a map and instructions of what to see in Florence. She also gave us good advice on where to eat typical (non-touristic) food, which resulted very good and cheaper. The place is located in a first floor at the end of a long passage a bit dark, but this was compensated by the relaxing atmosphere of the house. We where able to use the dining area and the washing machine.

Poor directions to accomodation. Come out of the railway stn facing towards Santa Maria Novella church/piazza, cross road towards the Carabinieri building then follow the building round to the right then you will see Via dell'Alberto practically opposite you then count down to number 13. We had the garden room which was a little noisy due to car wash next door but this didn't bother us. Roberta the lady who runs it stayed up till 00:30 when we arrived and was charming. There is a shared kitchen - very student like but ok if that's your thing. We just wanted a base and this was ideal and I would stay here again as room OK and location spot on and right price.

The lady owner is very pleasant and thoughtful. There is a lovely small garden where we could dry our laundry and relax/chat. Free wifi and coffee is excellent. Great location as it is near the Train Station. We will come back to Casa Corsi if we visit Florence again.

Casa Corsi is a good value. Signora Corsi is friendly and organized and her young assitant, Oraine, is very friendly and sweet. On my first visit, I stayed in one of the rooms with shared bathroom and my only complaint is the noise from the upstairs neighbors (not under Casa Corsi's control) who carried on until about 1 AM. On my second visit, I was given the room that's located in the garden and has a private bathroom. That was excellent. Quiet and private. The only other room with private bath is located right next to the shared bath and so one has to deal with the noise and comings and goings from the other guests. I would not recommend that room.

Le plus est la cuisine lumineuse car donnant sur un jardinet et où l'on peut préparer le petit-déjeuner et des repas simples. Accueil très sympathique de l'hôtesse qui parle un peu français Proximité de la gare d'où partent la majorité des bus.

I received a warm welcome from Roberta and the hotel was a good location. Even though I did not meet Roberta after my arrival because of my odd comings and goings she sent me a lovely and warm email when I returned home. It was a homely atmosphere and the use of the kitchen was great. Thanks Roberta for a warm and welcome stay.

This was our 1st visit to Florence. We loved Casa Corsi! For 1st time Europe travel, it exceeded our expectations. Pricing was perfect. It was convenient to the train station and other public transportation. It was quiet enough for 2 weary sightseers to re-energize for the next day.

Screens on kitchen windows to keep out flies would be nice, otherwise nice place, great location. Called Bed a& Breakfast, but only coffee and a few boxed snacks provided. Very handy to train and city center.

The welcoming of the owner, Roberta Corsi, was very warm and genereous (with her useful advice on restaurants, supermarkets, and delicious coffee and cookies). The Casa corsi is ideally located, only a five minute walk to the station, bus stops nearby and all important touristic activities within a ten minute walk Absolutely to be recommended!

I never got a chance to tell them what time I was coming but she was waiting for me and my sister when we got there, offered us coffee and was very sweet. Offered us a map of Florence as well as giving us her cell phone# in case we needed anything. No Breakfast was served but we could use the full kitchen (which was very nice) and she also bought fresh biscotti :-) Florence was beautiful and it was nice to come back to Casa Corsi at the end of a long day of site seeing...and go out in the yard and relax. 5 minutes from the train and 20 min from most of the sites..... I'd go back... Word of advice.... go to Fort Belvedere....it has beautiful panoramic views of Florence.

We loved Roberta and Casa Corsi. It felt like a quiet, clean and comfortable home. The shared bathroom was never a problem. It was a good location and it was overall very comfortable. For those who like more unique places to stay with a lovely host, stay here. It's a good deal too. I would definitely return.

We had some trouble finding the place and arrived later than expected but, Roberta was there to greet us and explain the facilities. Good location to all we wanted to see and do in Florence. Enjoyed the use of the kitchen and the caffe made by the Canadian guests on the first morning of our 2 day stay. Very quiet facility and the little garden was a real joy. Would definitely stay there again.

Upon our arrival, Signora Corsi welcomed my daughter and me with espresso coffee and biscotti. She was a gracious host, encouraging our use of the kitchen and flower garden, where we enjoyed several take-home meals over our stay. Room was attractive and clean. The wireless internet was an invaluable amenity. Location was most convenient, five-minute walk from train and bus stations. Great value for the price!

Roberta greeted us with a smile and was very welcoming. Since Casa Corsi is so close to the train station, it was a short walk but it's also not the most picturesque neighborhood. That did not matter at all and actually turned out to be a positive because the restaurant that was recommended to us was a short walk from Casa Corsi. Plus, when you enter from the busy street, there's a long hall, then another hall to your room so you're far from any noise. Even though we didn't speak Italian and Roberta spoke just a little English, we had no trouble communicating and she was very helpful. She even made the reservations for us at that restaurant and offered help on how to get to around Florence and to Accademia and Uffizi. This B&B was only a "B" because she couldn't serve breakfast but with a full kitchen available to us, we were able to go out, buy food at a place very close by and eat it there. At night we also enjoyed snacks and a few beverages as we played a game at the kitchen table. The place is sparse (no TV in our rooms - though there was one in the kitchen and there's no internet) but for the price and the location (close to places of interest and the train station) Casa Corsi can't be beat. We loved Florence and our stay at Casa Corsi made it special.
