Bed and Breakfast BB Monnaclara - Florence

Very welcoming. The triple room for three woman was very spacious. Lovely clean bathroom. Great to have a balcony off the room. Handy location to train station. We would definitely recommend as a very good place to stay in Florence.

The rooms were clean and spacious and very comfortable. It is close to the city centre and convenient for sightseeing. However, the rooms are in a residential block with an uninviting entrance and when we arrived the door was locked and there was no-one to greet us. The website should make clear how to contact the owners if they arrive outside normal hours eg after 8pm as this was not made clear and we waited in a dismal entrance hall for 20-30 mins for the owner to turn up. Once you know this it is a very reasonably priced and convenient base for sightseeing.

I stayed in Florence one week. The staff very welcoming. Nice B Monna Clara, but don't call it B & B,because to have breakfast, we have to get out of Monna Clara and have breakfast in a café nearby.

Thought breakfast would be included due to title 'B&B' but it was an additional cost. Staff were very helpful with maps.

Hotel is near to the train station, neat, clean and well maintained. Staffs are very good and will guide you to the attractions and places to go in Florence. Problem is with the noise of vehicles moving on the road. If you are going on Saturdays, Sunday/Holidays, inform the hotel guys earlier as they are not available full time and I had to wait for almost an hour after calling them. Overall had a good experience with the Hotel and Florence.

Near to the city centre, the staff is friendly and can suggest you where to eat and what to do in Florence. The breakfast is not included, so you have to have in a bar near to the accomodation. It's near to a busy street, so it may happen that it's a bit noisy during the night. Overall, the room was comfortable.
