Bed and Breakfast Al Duomo - Florence

Very warm hosts!

Difficult to find out how to check in. Suffered with too much mosquitoes through the night. But staffs are very kind and provideed enough information to go for sightseeing. Worth trying great breakfast and cappuccino!

The only reason I rated this B&B less on some points was the size of my room. I have not seen any of the other ones, but mine was tiny. It was a single, but was expecting it to be slightly bigger. Also, there was no view from my room. Apart from that had an excellent stay; it is a very small family run B&B and the owners certainly try to make you feel at home. Breakfast was excellent; one morning I woke up late and decided I wasn't going to make it in time for breakfast(which finishes at 10). As I was leaving at 10.30 I got offered breakfast anyway. They've been very accomodating and extremely welcoming. Amazing location- literally less than a minute to Piazza del Duomo. Would highly reccommend.

Everything is as excellent as stated below. I'm not very sure about facilities listed on venere.com page such as: laundry room, pool, valet service, health club etc... probably the hosts can advise your about it or even make an appointment. And there is definitely no shop in the hotel. Nevertheless, there are lot of Laundry selfservice, minimarkets, bars, gift shops all around the place even if they are not B&B facilities. It would be better to mention tea/coffee facilities within the room which is an advantage, and free toiletries in the bathroom (including tooth kit!) and the fridge in the kitchen, too. The place is quiet enough, you don't have any street noise as the hotel is on the very high 4th floor; but the soundproofing in the hotel is poor (like it is in any urban flat with 4 rooms and bathrooms and a kitchen)

This place is a perfect 10! The locale is perfectly situated within walking distance of everything that is a must see in Florence. The owners Guido and Maria are wonderful hosts and are eager to accomodate. I, along with my friends, will definately recommend this B&B to everyone traveling to Firenze! Owners of the B&B were very welcoming and friendly, couldn't have been more helpful to us. Room was clean, bright and spacious and location was excellent. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon.

This lovely place is directly off the Duomo Square. Our room showed a wonderful view of the hills and down the street to another square. Very spacious room! Our host made breakfast HIMSELF, complete with lattes, fresh croisants, etc. The owners joined us for coffee one afternoon and provided historical background of Florence and the area, including recommendations for suppers. Great location for walking to everything, even the train station.

This was the best B&B we stayed at during our trip to Europe. It was clean, and in a good area. I cannot speak highly enough of the owners, Guido and Mariagioconda. They are lovely people and made us feel at home,as they do to all guests. The personalised service was great and all the restaurants they recommended were great.

The location was excellent. Guido, the owner, make our stay very pleasant and help us in every aspect of our stay. The room was very clean.

Ideal location, in the heart of Florence. Treated like a guest. Helpful and eager to assist, yet respectful of privacy. Will recommend to fellow travelers.

This was our first visit to Florence and we couldn't have picked a better location for our accommodation. B&B Al Duomo is perfectly situated in the heart of Florence within a short walk of all the principle sights and attractions. It was superb and we would definitely recommend it and hope to return again.

Family would love this place.(I stayed there with my mum and sis and younger brother) It's located really near at Duomo cathedral... quite and clean... Above all, the room was spacious than other italian hostels... (Even though a toilet was small~) The staff(who runs this hostel) was so so so kind and very useful! (his english wasn't good but you can understand him without big difficulties) It was so great and I would be back next time!
