B&B 5 Sensi - Florence

We were in Florence for 1 night. We booked this place in mind for just sleep. The price was reasonable and service was fine for the limited time we were there. The location is ok - we were able to walk to the major touristy spots. Took us a good 30 minutes or so. I would recommend for those on a budget for a nights rest. Not sure about breakfast - I believe it was not included. Oh well. Plenty of places to eat in town.

Very nice B&B, although the breakfast was not really included...! The owner was very kind, he lent us a guide of Florence and gave some tips on what to visit. The area is quiet and not far away from the centre, a 20 min walk.

First things first, Sensei B&B does not stand for Bed and Breakfast. It stands for Bed & Bed. Breakfast is an extra 5 Euro. Having said that, this place was in a great location, the rooms were beautiful (high vaulted ceilings, big windows, giant doors, comfortable beds, memory foam pillows). It was only a 20 minute walk into the main part of Florence. One of the only downfalls, was that the hallways and the rooms at first (until we aired it out) smelled a lot like stale cigarettes. Also, we dealt with two staff (both of whom live off site), one of which was amazing, the other spoke very little English and was not very helpful. We would recommend this place to others because once we got settled in and the room smelled less, we had a great time

It is a good B&B not so sure how the breakfast works since we got a breakfast only on the last day......location is fine gotta be aware which buses to catch other than that I think it's good value for money in Florence.

Really really pretty and comfortable!! We didn't expect such a nice place, furnished in a minimalist but so zen manner... stereo, candles, incense, and with a wonderful view on a private garden!!!! We would suggest it to everybody!

I went to 5 sensi with my boyfriend to visit florence. Though the hotel is admittedly a little bit far from the city centre, it is in a safe and friendly neighbourhood and just a bus ride or a nice 20 min walk from town. Considering the price, the rooms were FANTASTIC, with comfortable double beds, tv, music system, and lovely high ceilings and good decoration. The bathrooms were clean and there is a breakfast service for a small extra price. The staff was lovely, and helped us choose our next destination in italy which was very kind. It feels like you are at somebody's house, rather that at a hotel - I absolutely recommend it!

Muy limpio, habitaciones amplias y luminosas. A 15-20 minutos andando del centro. Francesco es un encanto y os ayudará con lo que este en su mano.

Great stay, we will recommend it to our friends. Clean silent room away from the center of Florence but easy to reach we had a good time.

Great B&B at a great price. Rooms are very comfortable and sharing the bathroom was never a problem. One thing to be aware of, this B&B is a good distance from the city center. We found bus rides were 15 - 20 min depending on traffic and the bus was somewhat infrequent (every 15 min).

After a bitter stay at B&B Butterfly in Lucca this one was a big surprise. B&B is on main road but we got rooms to the other side. Quiet road, family apartments around. Beautiful spacious room we wanted and could dance in! (used to B&B in England we just laughed how ridiculous small they are in England ). Clean place and very friendly owner. We had separate bathroom with the keys only for us, but the lock was bit broken and for the first night it stayed open, just one person used it. I found the way to lock it and it was only ours for the second night. Because we payed for a room with bathroom incl. and got bathroom across the hall, the owner gave us breakfast gratis. Fresh pastry and strong good coffee.Very spacious apartment with approx.7 rooms. Second night we could hear our neighbours late in the night, but we asked them to be more quiet and could sleep again. We chose this one to be not far away from the highway but quiet and close to the centre. We like walking to discover surrounding. Some museums are open late night, check before you go to Florence, it is more comfortable, less people. Beautiful city. I would highly recommend this B&B!! Visited in august 2008.

This establishment is advertised as a bed and breakfast but the breakfast is not included in the price of a room. It should be part of the package otherwise don't put it in the name of your lodging!

Great place to stay! Very clean and sunny! Nice quiet area (no tourists around!). Excellent location! And very easy to reach by bus from SMN train station (15-20 min) and basically from any place in center.

It was great!! Especially the staff, they were very nice and attentive with us. We feel like we were at home. The room really exceed our expectations, so clean and big. My friends and I love it.

La habitacion era enorme(14 metros cuadrados y 4 metros de alta) y muy bonita, quizas la mejor de los b&b que estuve en mi viaje a Italia. Se echa de menos el desayuno, aunque ya sabiamos que no tenia. El dueño debería ayudar mas a los huespedes, como dándoles un mapa para visitar la ciudad o diciéndoles que líneas de autobuses tomar para moverse. Por suerte había una librería al lado donde comprar uno. La zona no es cara en absoluto. Un café en la heladería de abajo costaba 0,80 centimos. Bastante barato. En general todo bien.
