Loved staying near the Duomo. I knew it would be a loud location - staying near any tourist site you have to be ready for some noise. But for me I do not care too much about noise. The windows do not shut too tightly so I wonder if this place might be chilly during the winter, but it was no problem in October. Elevator did not always work. For me that was no problem. But it might be a problem for some travelers.

Very nice room for the price but there was no receptionist the first two days of my 3-day stay so minor problems went unsolved. Hotels should make it known when wifi only works in certain areas but this was a minor inconvenience. The worst problem was the street noise with a disco on the ground floor and American teenagers screaming in the streets till 5 a.m. Okay for young travellers who want to party but even the location was fabulous and the room very clean, I wouldn't stay there again because I simply could not sleep.

The single room is very very very tiny, though the toilet is big enough. Quite clean, new furniture in the bathroom. Major problem of the room is the noise: the window's glass is too thin, same for the interior wall which is made of plasterboard. At night you hear people screaming in the streets and ambulances since there is an hospital nearby, same for the noises in the corridor: seems like people is walking in your room. Location is perfect, 50 meters from the cathedral, view on the dome.

The location is great. In the middle of the city. The staff is very helpful. However, the breakfast is served inside your room on a very small table. There is no breakfast room. Even worse, there is no fresh food at breakfast. They serve cookies etc to your room the day before so there is no fresh food for the breakfast. Additionally, the rooms are quiet loudy since they are next to the street and due to the hot weather you leave the window open in the summer. So, It was hard to sleep in the morning

The hours of the office are small, but everything works out with their codes, which was fine. A little dirty in the shower. Loved being next to the Duomo, but the street traffic and the street chatter was difficult for me and kept waking me up. Also whatever flooring they put in their you could hear anyone walking and feel it when they came in. I might stay there again. A couple of mornings i didn't get the breakfast i had paid for. Which was okay, cause it was barely a breakfast. More fun to eat at coffee shops around the city. I stayed in a single room and i liked that i could turn around in the shower and it was roomy, which i liked a lot.

Good location right next to the Duomo and easy to find. Accommodation clean but very basic. We had a small room and breakfast included in the price was very limited. OK overall but you can find much better accommodation Florence for a similar price.

Very good place to stay. Perfect location, right next to the Duomo and near to all the main attractions in Florence. The room was not too big, but it was nice and clean. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a low budget accomodation without renouncing to a certain quality.

This was a great place and great location. We had a view from the Duomo and that is pretty much central Florence, so we were close walking distance to all the other sites and attractions. We definitely recommend.

The room was a too small and narrow. We have to stay in the bed most of the time. However, the location was good. Walking distance to the Duomo.

Everything perfect, very clean, rooms are quite small, but location can't be better, next to the Duomo!! So the price is good. We went out at night near the hotel, where you can find a lot of people around, good live music in the street, nice ice-creams, etc, etc. Internet available without any problem, breakfast included, etc, etc. everything ok!

I was staying in B&B di Piazza del Duomo for 2 nights in June. Honestly speaking, I'd booked it because of its location and didn't expect much of the room. But I was really surprised to have a lovely charming room. And Sabrina, the manager, was really very helpful and friendly.

This hotel is within spitting distance of the Duomo, which also means within spitting distance of it's bells which go all night!! Also, when I stayed there in May 2009 the air conditioning wasn't working which was frustrating because the weather was particularly hot at the time.

Overall this is an excellent B&B. Great location, great staff. I am a student and stayed in Florence to do some research so I spent a lot of time in the room writing and it was pleasant. The airconditioning does not work at night, but a fan was more than suffucient even in the sweltering heat of June. The WiFi works sporadically in the rooms but it is always available in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again and reccommend it to anyone.
