Bed & Breakfast Belfiore - Florence

A bit far away from the S.M.N. station, about 10-15 mins walk. Quite noisy at night as it is just beside the road. But it's better to be with closed windows and turn the air-con on. Staff there are nice and helpful. In general it is a nice place to stay.

This B&B suited us well.It was close to the train station for us to walk to and easy to get around town.Rosie was a wonderful hostess.

The most unsatisfied three nights stay in Italy! I chose this hotel because is a B&B and well rated. But the truth makes me really disppointed. Our room is near to the street, and it's no way you get sleep as you feel yourself exactly sleep on the street! The owner said all rooms are like this, and she said sorry for everything and offered ear plugs. Besides the location is not easy to find and the breakfast is poor. I don't know how we get over the three nights, it is HORRIBLE! Don't worth the price of 60 euros per night at all!!!

The staff was extremely helpful. They went out of there to help with parking, suggested restaurants, maps, and directions. The area is noisy so bring ear plugs and all will be well.

We stayed in a double room in this family-run B&B. The room was very spacious and clean with air-conditioning. There was free wi-fi internet and free parking (limited lots)just outside the B&B. A 12-minute walk brought you to the train station and from there to many places of interest. Bus-stops for public buses are located just outside the B&B which was very convenient indeed. The B&B is situated on the 3rd floor of a 3-storey building. Although it has a lift, there is a flight of stairs to negotiate before one gets to the lift. As such, it is not suitable for those with reduced mobility. In Rosy, you will meet the loveliest, warmest, friendliest and most helpful of proprietess. She already had a map ready for us when we arrived and accurately mapped out the streets and bus numbers that we needed to take. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again if in Florence!

The Bed&Breakfast is OK, situated on the third floor of a big old Florentine building. It is not too far to walk to the city centre. The noise from outside is enormous, you can still hear the cars, buses and mopeds when the windows are closed. Breakfast was less than expected, no bread, rolls or croissant, the rest was ok, you can help yourself to different kinds of muesli, biscuits, sweets and yoghurts.

Very warm welcoming and staying. You feel like you are home. Very close to Santa Maria Novella Station. Easy to reach with transport or taxi.

The owner was always at your service, friendly and highly informative. She gave us useful details about the popular tourist haunts. I thought the breakfast was sumptuous. Overall, the B&B was fabulous. I would stay there again.

We stayed at B&B Belfiore for 3 nights. The woman at the reception was very very friendly and helpful. The room was okay, only the bathroom was quite small. There was also traffic noise in the morning but it was bearable. All in all I would say that the hotel is absolutely okay for a city trip and the relationship between price and quality is absolutely good. We would come back!

There were no public areas the breakfast was obtained from a separate room and was taken on a tray back to your room. Ham cheese fruit or bread rolls were not provided.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Si trova non lontano dalla St. Sanata Maria Novella, quindi dal centro storico, ed è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. La gestione del b&b è cambiata dal primo marzo, Rosy, la nuova proprietaria, è molto disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Le camere sono piuttosto confortevoli. Ritornarci??? Perchè no!!!
