Luana Inn Airport - Fiumicino

We stayed at Luana Inn for 1 night to catch the early morning flight out of Rome.The front yard of the hotel is nice with all the trees, the room and bathroom are clean.The owner Luana is very nice and friendly.Her father's restaurant has good food and very good house wine.We went to eat at her father restaurant and forgot thing over there. When we were back to the state , she did try to contact us and send it back for us.Over all, it was a good stay.

Luana was an absolute Joy to meet and we highly recommend staying at her Bed & Breakfast. It is close to the Fuimicino Airport which is why we chose to stay there. She was more than happy to call a cab for us for a 4am pick-up for an early flight. We also loved the family restaurant just down the street from the B&B! Excellent hospitality! Thanks again!

We enjoyed our stay at Luana Inn. The room was adequate. The courtyard and yard was very nice. It is in a good location to get to the airport in the morning. The host arranged a taxi for us. We also enjoyed eating at the Luana Restaurant which is just a few blocks away. Good food and very friendly service!

The couple who own this place are fantastic! They are very welcoming and warm! The place is huge and beautiful and not too far from the airport. It's not very close to anything touristy without your own car, but if you have a car it's a great place for anything you need/want in Rome. We were going to take the bus, but don't bother, as there is no way to know where to get off and the owners couldn't tell us. We tried a taxi, but since he was only supposed to go to Rome's center, he got a little lost and luckily I had a google map printed out and showed him where to go! The restaurant they own around the corner is great too!

Very nice hotel,not far from airport,but ti go back there you have to pay 20 eur for taxi.In general very good hotel.

Working with Luana was great. Working with her father? Not as much. He was a tad cranky. But she was great as were the accommodations. I especially liked that I was able to 'make my own breakfast' as i had to leave the hotel at 5:30 AM. Luana was very sweet to show us how to make our own snacks so that we didn't have to miss breakfast! The room was beautiful!!! Actually, everything we saw on the inside was gorgeous. The outside needed a lawn mowing, but was otherwise really pretty. I would recommend this B&B to others. And I would love to stay their again!!

I had a great experience with Luana Inn. I arrived late in the evening to Rome and was on an early morning flight the next morning so I just needed a place to sleep for the night. The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming, and kind and the place was exactly what I needed. The room I had was on the small side but spotlessly clean with a nice, newly redone bathroom (with good water pressure and plenty of hot water :) ). I could sometimes hear other doors opening and closing, but was so tired (and had brought earplugs) so it wasn't an issue- I slept great. I left for the airport at 5 am so I didn't bother with breakfast, which looks to be an adequate but un-fancy affair in the kitchen area. As a note to those leaving super early some breakfast items such as juices, coffee/tea, and some pre-packaged pastries are available all night so no matter what time you leave you can still have something if you're so inclined. The only major issue was getting to and from the airport- the taxi driver who took me from the airport was awful and tried to overcharge me, telling me all kinds of stories and nonsense. From speaking to the owners and others eating in the restaurant when I arrived, this is a completely typical experience. No matter what, pay a maximum of 20 euro and if the driver is really causing problems, don't be afraid to get the number of the taxi and ask the owners of Luana for help. Getting back in the morning the hotel organized a private car to come- the driver was punctual and professional and cost 20 euro. Bottom line is that you'll need to factor in a minimum of 30-40 euro just to get to and from the hotel. Overall, a great experience, especially the owners who are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our needs. We wanted a place to stay close to the airport for an early flight. The best part was the nearby restaurant owned by the same folks. There is a gluten-free menu that filled our special diet requirements. Great people there and very helpful in all ways.

One of the favorite places on our whole trip! we loved the family owned atmosphere and the food was amazing at the restaurant. The room was clean quiet and charming, we will stay again!

Very spacious and clean rooms. The hosts are sweet and welcoming. We spend our last night in Rome here, to be close to the airport, and it was perfect. Be aware that it is far from the center of the city. The restaurant around the corner, run by the mother of the owners, is lovely as well.

Rooms are spacious and the beds were the best we had during our ten days tour of southern Italy. The staff is very friendly and capable. The location is just a few km away from the Fiumicino airport.

We were very satisfied with the owners and accomodations of this B & B. The owners stayed after hours for us to check in because of our delayed flight. It is very convenient to the airport. The room was spacious and lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel itself is little bit hiden, but with GPS possible to find. What is little bit worts is arrival of other guests (floor is pavement and everything is heard, mainly spike heels) to the hotel.

Hotel could use a little face lift,but the price was reasonable and very convenient to the airport.

Owner of the hotel was very nice amiable person, the room is big and pleasant in the quiet area. The meal of the breakfast was very little self service.

B&B was easy to locate and owners friendly. The meal at their restaurant close by was very much appreciated and excellent

What a fantastic place! lovely rooms and very quiet. Brilliant help yourself coffee machine, and free bottled water. We ate in the owners restaurant and had a fabulous meal with wonderful service. The only drawback for us was the breakfast. It was not the quality that you would expect and none of us ate it.

I stayed in Double room for a one night.

Owners are not on-site so we waited a little while to register for our stay. The room was huge and more than adequate as we were only staying overnight before catching an early morning flight. Our only complaint would be the noise from an adjoining property which lasted until the early hours of the morning which was unfortunate as we had to be at the airport at 4:00 a.m. Property is close to the airport to take the train into Rome.

Our room was no bigger than a shoebox. There was no room to open a suitcase except on the bed. There was no hot water in the shower. Breakfast consisted of packaged food.

Difficult to find and access despite being close (5 minutes drive) from airport. Breakfast is self-service and a bit primitive. Serviceable for one night but hardly comparable value

The faucet leaked and we had no hot water. They came very promptly to fix, but it took two phone calls before we had hot water. We had an early flight out in the morning, so this was inconvenient. The area was convenient to get to the airport, but I wouldn't want to spend any more time there.

Taxi found inn difficult to find people arriving late were very noisy

The property was lovely and clean but a few down-sides: Difficult for cabs to locate because on a very short obscure street. Person who welcomed us couldn't speak any English, so we had to sit and wait until owner telephoned with instructions. Although the B&B advertised taking credit cards, the credit card machine was non-functional, so they requested cash. Being near the airport, we had already divested our euros, so there was some uncertainty about whether we could pay. Finally, they used the credit card number from the reservation. They promised to order a cab for early morning flight and DID follow through

The place was cute and very close to the airport. It was about an hour commute by Metro to Roma. Staff was excellent.

Without a car, finding places to eat was a challenge because not close to many dining venues and one good choice was closed for vacation. Otherwise, exactly what I needed. Staff was mosst ehlpful and accomodating. Cab arrived on time as promised. Hasselfree. Though I was leaving before breakfast, the owner made sure I had things in my room to enjoy before leaving. I recommend it. Neighborhood was quiet.

Mi esposa y yo acabamos de regresar de unas vacaciones en la Costa Amalfiana y Sorrentina.Como los vuelos llegan a Roma reservamos en este B&B cercano al aeropuerto una habitacion para la primera y la ultima noche.Los cuartos amplios y limpios,la atencion calida e inmejorable ( a pesar de no haber personal permanente ).Desde el aeropuerto nos comunicamos telefonicamente y un miembro de la famila ( el B&B es " familiar " )tuvo la gentileza de acercarse hasta el aeropuerto para guiarnos con nuestro automovil alquilado.El desayuno convencional en este tipo de B&B.Recomendable sin ninguna duda para quien busca un alojamiento cercano al aeropuerto de Fumicino,a un precio moderado y con una atencion que nos hizo " sentirnos en casa ".De paso tuvimos la oportunidad de cenar en el restaurante Luana perteneciente a la misma familia y cercano al B&B : la comida excelente .Recomendable !!!

Luana Inn was conveniently located, family owned and operated. Every effort was made to ensure we had an excellent stay. Our Hostess Luana and her family and staff were very personable, helpful, and friendly. The parents own a nearby, restaurant, we walked to it, and they openned early for dinner for us. Thank you. Highly recommended. Will use them again.

Loved the Luana Inn and were overwhelmed by the welcome we received by Luana as well as her parents. We ate at their excellent restaurant, and had a nice stroll around the neighborhood after dinner which is unheard of at a chain hotel.

Luana is lovely, makes you feel very welcome, huge room very well appointed. self serve breakfast, coffee machine available . had nice dinner at her parents restaurant 3 minutes walk away. 20 euro taxi to airport, handy for early departures.got there from rome via train to airport and bus which you can ask to stop near parents reasaurant. luana, ok if you have time,

Pleasant but brief stay, one night. Luana arranged the taxi for us which was great as we had an early flight back home the next morning. Nice meal at her parent's nearby restaurant.

Very hot welcoming by owner who presented a high degree of care and good will.

We had a very good experience, the B&B is very clean, the owners are very nice, they also operate a restaurant about a block from the hotel, food is very good and prices are very reasonable.

Owner also operates an excellent restaurant two blocks away. Great seafood. Plenty of parking on the street in front of the B&B. 10-minutes to the airport. Breakfast consists of packaged toast, packaged rolls and jam. A coffee machine is provided.

The Luana Inn was a wonderful place to stay. Although there didn't seem to be much to do there, it was a great place to stay when needing to be close to the airport. Some of her rooms can hold up to 5 people! I would recommend this place for anyone! She also had a wonderful and large patio area! I took a taxi both ways from the airport and the cost was between 12-20 Euro, there is also a bus that drops you off near her inn. It was about a 15 minute ride with traffic to the airport. Luana was a wonderful hostess and I would love to return to her inn again :-D!!

Luana Inn is a quiet oasis 5 minutes from the busy Fiumicino airport. With lemon and orange trees in the beautiful garden, it truly has a country-home feel. Luana, the owner, works very hard to make her guests feel at home. Right around the corner, her Papa and Mama run their little ristorante with excellent, affordable home-cooked meals. Luana Inn is an outstanding choice for anyone either renting or returning a car at the airport. It also makes a perfect place to stay after exploring the nearby ruins of Ostia Antica - which are very similiar to the more well-known Pompeii.

The people were very nice and very helpful, the room was comfortable and the route into rome was reasonably easy and cheap.

I stayed in the suite.The staff were very helpful.No red tape, Great value for money.

The room was great and very large (triple). The bed and breakfast owner was very helpful and fiendly.

What a superb B&B for our two day stay. Luana is a very friendly charming hostess with a beautiful home and garden. Her parents operate the restaurant round the corner from the B&B and our meal was excellent. We would highly recommend this quiet little B&B which is very handy for the airport. The direct airport bus runs close by and hourly, but can it be full during the early morning meaning a long wait for the next one. We hope to return for a longer visit next time.
