Bed and Breakfast Corte Dei Gioghi - Ferrara

Corte Dei Gioghi is a quiet place situated in the countryside outside Ferrara. It takes only a few minutes with a car to arrive at a parking place very near to the center of the town. The staff on C.D.G. advised us very well and we would like to give our best recommandations to the place.

From the moment my wife and I arrived up to when it was (unfortunately) time to leave again for home we felt that we were very special guests and were treated accordingly both by the proprietress and her charming son alike. Having breakfast that would allow any gourmet heart to beat faster in what can only be described as adorable, spacious roofed-patio surroundings embedded in tranquility and lavish style was certainly one of the best ways to start off any day of vacation. Oh, and by the way, all this just after having plunged into the most beautifully garden-located, spacious outdoor swimming pool just as the morning sun was beginning its journey into the early misty morning beginning of October.

Friendly staff, beautiful rooms - seemed newly renovated and were spacious. Property incuding pool was well cared for. Would definitely return.

It is locatated 5 km outside Ferrara in a rural area. Very quiet but for the location a bit expensive.

A beautiful property in the countryside overlooking open fields, busy road quite close by but did not cause us any disturbance as windows and shutters closed at night. Welcoming open air pool. Breakfast outside on the patio - lovely. Ferrara worth a visit. Comacchio also worth seeing by day and by night as it is beautifully lit. Good beach area at Porto Garibaldi with safe swimming.

This is a great B&B. Paolo met all our needs and requests for a couple touring Italy by tandem bicycle - even picking up a bottle of wine that we forgot to purchase for our picnic dinner at the B&B. I will be recommending them in my online bike journal.

The hotel is nice and also the family who runs the hotel, however I find it expensive

This family owned B & B was a thumbs up from every family member. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful in discovering the area of Ferrera. Very comfortable, huge rooms and personable. We choose a visit to Ferrera because of this B & B and were not disappointed. Perfect for families.

Not really a farm for holidays, but a wonderful place for a brief vacation or to stay during a trip to Ferrara

I can only recommand CORTE DEI GIOGHI as the warm welcome of the owner , the quality of the rooms and the beauty of the old house are priceless .

I stayed here in a tipically cold winter period and I suggest this wonderful place to everybody agrees a quite location in the Italian North Eastern nice countryside near the Adriatico sea.

We were very satisfied with Corte Dei Gioghi. Warm welcome by the owners, top quality of rooms and facilities and a very quiet surrounding. Parking area in short walking distance from the historic city center of Ferrara is reachable within five minutes by car, the motorway can also be reached in five minutes. The only (really little!) problem was the conversation with the owners, because their knowledge in the english or german language was as small as our competence in speaking italien. But together we were able to solve all questions - and we had a lot of fun while doing this. We really had a good time at Corte Dei Gioghi Silvia+Eckhart from Austria

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay in this bed and breakfast. It was close to Ferrara, yet even closer to the major highway that brings you into Ferrara. The only slight problem was the owner's dog woke us up one night but the next night there was no problem.

The receptions was best. There was one problem: The B&B is situated in the field 3 to 4 kilometers of the center of the city. As we did not come by car that was a problem. But this problem was perfectly coverde, by the owner who brought us every day to the city or to the railway station.

For us it was perfect, close to town and so quiet. A wonderful restored home and very friendly hospitality. It was a shame that we cannot understand italian.

Very friendly and helpful people, we had a suite of rooms that was spacious and very comfortable. It's very nice you can sit in a private garden, for guests only. Owners lended us bikes so we could visit Ferrara by bike instead of by car. Very good location if you want to visit the city of Ferrara but don't want to stay in a hotel inside the city.

Si tratta di un casale ristrutturato, immerso nel verde e a pochi minuti dal centro di Ferrara. Le stanze sono ampie e ben arredate; ottima la pulizia ed il giardino è meraviglioso. Ci siamo trovate benissimo, la proprietaria è molto gentile e simpatica e seguite i suoi consigli sui ristoranti: ottimo!

The accommodation in this bed and breakfast was first class, and much better than one would get in a hotel. The owners were very friendly and hospitable.

Extremely friendly welcoming in a family atmosphere, lovely breakfast in the garden. I would like to recommend this place to everybody. One of our best places visited in Italy this summer!

It would have been helpful for a location map to be displayed on the property's website, because it was not easy to find. However the service and facilities were excellent, one of the most comfortable places we have ever stayed in. Excellent breakfast and very pleasant surroundings.
