Le Fumarole was great!! We absolutely loved it, the rooms were very cute. We had a gorgeous view from our balcony of the entire bay of Naples, my husband and I found it very romantic. It was an excellent place to stay and venture out to Naples, Pompeii and the amalfi coast; we had a rental car so it was perfect. There were only a couple of restaurants within walking distance, but breakfast was served everyday and the one restaurant we tried near by was very good. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a car because it is out of the main part of the town. The only down fall was finding it, this was very difficult. The staff was friendly and accommodating and I would definitely go back!!

Le Fumarole is on a switchback road up to Vesuvius with a great view of the Bay of Naples. After a day of sightseeing and crazy drivers it was wonderful to relax in this quiet B&B. The staff had good recommendations for restaurants. “Gianni al Vesuvio" was a favorite- a great family restaurant with wonderful food. We had dinner one night at theB&B- it was great! Breakfast each day was more than we could eat. We were there for 5 nights- a great location for day trips in the area. We visited Naples, Paestum, Benevento- all within 2 hrs. Of Course we visited the ruins at Earcolano- excellent!
