Clean, newer facility. Wonderful location. If you get a second floor room with a balcony, it is wonderful. The owners exert themselves to be helpful with information. They will give you maps and guidance for every possible destination in Tuscany. It's hard to find this place, so be tenacious. The GPS won't really take you to the exact location and this is really back woods, dirt-road stuff. Follow the written instructions they'll send you and pray a bit. Basically, this is a great value, a true Tuscan hillside estate with central location to all area points of interest. But, if you need an always reliable internet connection or depend on more than coffee and bread for breakfast, this place is not for you. They could easily fix this with some self-serve, fresh fruit, yogurt and cheese, etc. They think fruit juice is some kind of colored liquid mixed with sugar corn syrup. Bring your own real orange juice and appreciate the other many good qualities of this place.

The view is beyond words. Tuscan countryside as far as the eye can see. The rooms are tasteful and clean. Most importantly, Ricardo and Susan are excellent hosts. They have maps for everywhere, advice on everything and anything local and recommend the nicest restaurants in the region.

Greatest place we stayed! Sue is English, Riccardo Italian so they make a dynamic duo as hosts. Beautiful surroundings and close to a major train hub in Empoli. Stay in the quiet countyside, and day trip to the major sites, Rome, Florence, Pisa etc. Great breakfast and the staff works with you to plan each days journey with maps and advice. You just can't beat it!!

This was by far the best B&Bs we stayed in during our 17 day trip to Italy. The accommodations are relatively new with Wi-Fi for your computer, fantastic views of the countryside from the terrace, and the peace and quite of the country to help you sleep. Sue and Ricardo are warm and friendly. They are helpful in every way possible. For example, they helped us by making dinner reservations for us on several occasions. Although Sue and Ricardo will help you get to and from their country home if you arrive by train or bus, in our opinion, this B&B is best suited for those with a car. The location is great for day trips to all parts of the Tuscan countryside. Besides the Tuscan hill country, you are close to such sites as Pisa, Florence and the famous Italian coastal towns. Sue is English while Ricardo is a native Tuscan who can give you maps and excellent directions to any area you wish to see. Superb experience!
