The Beverley is a very pleasant place to stay, I would recommend it to anyone. It is a house in a quiet residential street, very easily reached by bus from the airport and well connected to the city centre. The owners are friendly and discreet, happy to be of help, trusting (they did not need our passports, the reservation with Venere was enough; they let you borrow DVDs without any formality, they are not there al the time watching what you do). The room and the bathroom were perfect, the breakfast room was pleasant with beautiful crockery, breakfast was very nice with a lot of choice (full breakfast included poached eggs, nice bacon, sausage, mushrooms, and of course toast, butter, jam, yoghurt, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, cereals with milk, cheese, cold meat...) and even the room tea/coffee was offered with cookies. Since we had to leave very early on the last morning, they left us a tray in fron of our door with a teapot, abundant fresh fruit, 4 different small portions of cheese, 2 buttered rolls, 2 bars of cereals. The large TV screen had a DVD player. The hairdryer was simply put in a drawer and not nailed to the bathroom wall. It was like being a guest in a normal house, plus the privacy.

I stayed at the Beverley for 3night. It was really wonderful place. One thing,I was disappointed for drier. When I was drying my hair ,using the drier. The smell felt dusty. But another thing ,I didn't say anything. I really enjoyed staying there.

Stayed overnight only. Street parking and we were able to park right in front. Internet worked very well. Owner was very friendly and left us a tray of snacks as we had to leave early for a flight. Took taxi to and from town which was inexpensive and easy.

I can not forget the memorable time we had in Edinburgh, and a lot of it is because of The Beverly. If I think of the Castle, I will also think of The Beverley

Our stay at The Beverley was perfect, the welcome was so warm, and the service was really good. Less than 15 minutes in bus to be in the center of Edimbourg. All was really clean, and the breakfast was really good. A perfect address.

We enjoyed our staying at the Beverley, Judy and her husband had been so nice and kind! The room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom was great and the hotel sorroundings were so nice and quite! The bus stop is very near and it takes you only a few minutes to arrive to the centre of Edinburgh. One tip above all: try the full Scottish breakfast prepared by Judy!! It's awesome!!!

This B&B was lovely-the people were very nice, the room was large, clean, quiet and very comfortable. It is a little way from downtown, but the buses are very easy to use and not too expensive (about $2 US per trip or $5 per day). The 100 bus from the airport gets you within a 5 minute walk to the Beverly. Nice little restaurant/bar at the Dunstane Hotel up the street. The Edinburgh Castle is a great tour, plan to spend half the day. Most pubs serve pretty good food, but someone under 18 may have more trouble finding a place to eat later at night as many pubs would not seat minors. Ghost tours are a little bit of quirky fun!

It was a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay. Tina was very nice and went out of the way to take care of us-i can't tell you what she did because then all the guests may start asking her for it, but suffice it to say it was above and beyond the call of duty and we appreciated it very much-LOL

Beverley was a really positive experience. A quiet hotel with very helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast. Centrally located, only three minutes walk to the nearest bus stop with direct connection to the center of Edinburgh. Should I visit Edinburgh again, I would probably choose Beverley as accommodation.

We had a very warm welcome by the owners, Hutch and Judy. Room very confortable and pretty nice the breakfast room, with excellent service.Bus stop to centre town at three minutes walking, although the area is quite silent, green and safe.We would come back and advice to anyone this perfect accomodation solution.

Absolutely lovely stay. Watch out for breakfast! The buffet spread isn't all there is because Judy will come out and ask what else you'd like cooked. Very near a bus stop so no worries that it's not in the middle of the Royal Mile.
