Bed and Breakfast Blinkbonny House - Edinburgh

Very kind and helpful people! Very familiar atmosphere. In a quiet area but still in walking distance to downtown (or by bus). Next time we'll need an accomodation in Edinburgh we will certainly try there first.

I was only able to stay at Blinkbonny House for one night, but I wished I had been able to stay longer! The owner was so welcoming and pleasant - the best service I have ever gotten. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and exactly as described on the website. Breakfast was wonderful as well, and the owner accommodated our early departure time easily and with pleasure. The B&B is within easy access of downtown Edinburgh by bus. This was probably the best place I have ever stayed.

The warm welcome and helpfullness of the B&B owner(s). Futhermore the whole interior of the B&B is warm and makes you feel at home. And last but not least, the owner (Shaun) was very helpfull and nothing was to much for him. He wants to give his guests a really good stay at his B&B.

Good location and service. Maybe due to Edinburgh Festival fares were really too high for what received.

I enjoyed my short stay with Sean. I wish I could have stayed longer. I am planning to go back and I will hope to stay at Blinkbonny House. It was everything the ad said it was and more. Even the breakfast was exactly like the picture. We had to cut our visit short by one day because of scheduling error on our part. Sean provided information that helped us very much to attain transportation on short notice. He also made us sandwiches and provided us with fruit juice for out trip. Cant say enough about him and his wife. The place was very cozy and comfortable.

The B&B is delicious but what makes the difference and why I raccomand Blinkbonny House is the wonderful kindness of its host!

Wonderful house, lovely hospitality and generous breakfast.

Really nice place and staff, the room where very big and lovely decorated. The only inconvenient is that the house is not in the center of Edimburgh, its about 10-15 min by bus from royal mile, but it can be an advantage if you re travelling with small children.

The owner of the property is a nice and considerate man. Though there is a share bath, he arranged us on the upper floor without other guests (good privacy). Thank you! The breakfast is of home-made style by the nice owner!
