Great all round, apart from one significant problem. The bathroom developed an intense smell of 'drains' if the extractor fan was turned off. If it was left running, it made it very difficult to sleep. Otherwise perfect!

It was a really nice stay. The beer was great and the staff very friendly. The hotel is central - everything you have to see is within walking distance.

Good accomondation in the heart of the city of Dublin. 5 min walk from Pearse Dart Station, you know what i mean?! .. Trinity College, Grafton Street, Bank of Ireland nearby. Matrasses are ok when you like a soft sleep.. All in all very good and nice Townhouse, if you don*t expect a four star Hotel

The rooms were ok, though no tea/coffee making facility in room. Unfortunately the traffic noise was constant and there were night road works while we were staying, so not much sleep to be had. Close to shopping areas and night life, very convenient location. Friendly staff.

This place was really overrated! We saw it in Skycap and it was not what we expected or they had advertised!

We arrived at 9:30am after an overnight international flight from the US and could not find anyone for over half an hour to let us in although it did say that you could store your bags until your check in time. also, on checkout, we ran into a similar problem of having to track someone down. It should make clear on the site as well as on the room confirmation WHERE the customer should go to check in and check out. Otherwise, accommodations were good.

Thank you for a lovely time! We were there over Bank Holiday and stayed for a week. We had room 6 - top corner of building. Lots of light and good cross ventilation. Across from Trinity College not much to see because of College configuration. Our room was out of WiFi range, but lounge downstairs had good coverage. The staff was very accommodating, thank you Nancy for noticing us and stowing bags when we first arrived. (Accommodations - no front desk, key entry only when the Pub isn't open) Pub was friendly and food far above pub food fare. Best Burger in Dublin for sure. Great location, you are 1 blk from the DART, 3 blks from O'Connell, around the corner from the Trinity College Main entrance and Tourism mini- center. Note you will have some DART noise until it stops at night, and the sound of a pressure booster for water pressure, but it is shut off overnight. Don't shower until you hear it kick in, it's worth sleeping in a bit for. Very accommodating for breakfast.

The rooms above O'Neills Pub are spacious and lovely. We agreed that the beds were the most comfortable of our trip. The bathrooms were very modern and there was plenty of hot water at all times. The property does not have an elevator, so heavy luggage can be an issue. We did not see any bellmen to help, and in fact there may not be any. There is a lot of history attached to the Inn. We were told that Michael Collins would often stay there during planning sessions. A lovely experience! I'd return again (with lighter luggage)!

We had a wonderful 6 night stay in winter. The room was heated and the showers hot. The breakfast was made to order by the owners each morning and worth the money. Wifi worked great in the room for emailing home. Location was easy to walk to everything. When arriving, go to the pub entrance. If pub is not open go to the door on the right and yell up. There is no reception, as the owners are in the pub in the afternoon and evenings. Ask for anything you need in the morning. They are accommadating in a every way we needed (ex: alarm clock, taxi call). Ending the evening at the pub was special. We had room #2 and just next door to the kitchen. I made tea in the afternoon/early evening. The door is locked at night though. The room is large for European standards. There are toiletries and the towels are changed daily. We did not find the traffic noise annoying, but it was February. Would love to visit Dublin in the summer months in the future and would stay here again. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.
