We have been in B&B 4 days and our stay was very pleasant. Margaret and John are pleasant, helpful, gracious and very nice. We spent a fun and relaxing time in Dublin. We hope to return one day in Dublin and we would like to stay again in Abberley B&B. We recommend the hotel to other nationals who wish to visit Dublin. Thanks again to Margaret and John for availability.

Great little B&B, 3 min walk to bus stop, 8/10 mins bus ride to the centre of Dublin. 8/10 Euro Taxi back. 20 Euros taxi fare from Airport - GReat location overall as in a residential street so if you want hustle and bustle this is not it! If you want safe and quiet this is it! Never got up in time for breakfast so couldnt tell you but smelt lovely!! Continental stuff avaliable all day if you required it. Hostess was very friendly and helpful - left us to it - home from home. Guy next door was having his garden done so lots of noise from 9am but its residential and not the fault of the hotel. Owners had thier family over on Sunday and you could hear them quiet loudly but we were in bed till 12pm as we didnt get home till 4am! So its definately NOT a moan!!! Conclusion - Lovely B&B very welcoming, comfortable, clean and great location! Thanks very much will recommend to all family and friends - Plus price is perfect £50 a night for Dublin with home cooked breakfast is fab!!

Overall stay was good, however small improvements cand be done: - empty basket garbidge every day (it was not done at all during the 4 nights stay) - fill in the soap/shampoo recipient during stay (not at all done during stay) - offer a better food variety for continental breakfast (besides bread, butter and jam), considering that the irish breackfast is provided only after 8,30 (which is rather late when going in different tours/trips) - heating can be provided only at request (can not be done/reglated via own room) - pretty difficult to get in touch with owners (only when ringing the door bell at arrival) - 30 min of walking to city center (needed for early morning trips departure, as buses starts at 6,20-6,30 during w/e)

I spent 8 nights in Dublin and I had a very pleasant stay at Abberley B&B. The owners Margret and John are very nice, open, helpful people and they helped us with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast is either irish (eggs, bacon/ham, sausage, tomatoes) or continental (milk, cereals, toast/bread, butter, jam, different kinds of yogurt). The continental breakfast is self served and the food is always in the dinning room, so you can choose whatever you like. The irish one is made by Margret every morning at request and we found it very good and tasty. In the dinning room there is a toaster, microwave oven, coffee, tea making facilities. The room and bath were clean, we had tv, coffee and tea making facilities, hair drier and ironing facility. The room itself it's a bit small but I think that's the design of the house. The B&B is a georgian classic house were the owners live as well. It is a ~30 min walk to O'Connell street depending on your pace, 10 min walk to the bus station (and here every bus takes you to city center) and is conveniently located on the way of several buses to the airport. From the b&b to the city center you will make only 7-10 min by bus. On the main street there is a supermarket Centra opened till late (11pm during Mo-Wed and 12 am Thur-Sun), 2 fast foods and a pub if you want fun close to home. We had everything we needed here and we felt like home. Also the price is a big plus as we paid 56 euros per room per night with breakfast included, so it's a big value for money. I would come back here and I would recommend this place to others as well.

The proprietor was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay at the b and b. The surrounding area was not as pleasant as we would have hoped but this was no reflection on the accommodation.

The hosts were both very friendly and especially understanding when we arrived late even though we held them up from going to a show on the Saturday night. The accommodation was what would be expected for the price and area. The room was compact but homely. The breakfasts were great.

Highly recommended, host are warm and welcoming; rooms are spacious and clean, location is perfect if you want to be a bit off the center of the city center, with super easy access to public transport. Will definitely stay again.

In quiet area,15 minutes away from Dublin town centre (if you walk). Margaret and John were very welcoming and gave us lots of advice for our first stay in Dublin. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was great, full Irish. Room was just what we needed for a short stay. Is ideal for couples, families.
