Situated north of the Liffey River and just a few steps away from Connolly Station, Dublin's major train station, the Abbott Lodge Guest House is right in the heart of Dublin City Centre. This inexpensive guest house is just over the river from Temple Bar, Dublin's vibrant night-life district, as well as the city centre's many restaurants, theatres and shops.
The Abbot Lodge Guest House is the ideal place for a low-cost Dublin city break. Not only will you be treated to a hearty full Irish cooked breakfast every morning, but you will also have a great time chatting with the guest house's cheery staff.
If you need anything, then you can always ask someone at the front desk, open 24 hours a day. Although they are full of useful information, if they cannot help you, then you will be directed to one of the city's tourist information points. There is also a public phone box on the property as well.

Yeah, the hindu guy was kinda rude, but he works all night. The other gentleman that works there was a world of info. So Just check in and throw your bags and go explore dublin!

Very nice staff but very poor B&B compared with those around Ireland but out of Dublin. A 4 storey hostel with no lift... heavy baggage and in our 40s... However I would return because of the good location.

Our window couldn`t be closed so the room was cold and noisy (from the street). The room was very dusty. The breakfast was okay but service rather slow. The lodge was near to the city and the connection from the airport good but TO the airport we had to take a taxi.

The Cleaning of the beds is very poor. Never we find a bed properly work. One of the bed has the cover very dirty. The man of the front desk (an hindu guy) doens't have a good treat.

How to reach Abbott Lodge
By airplane
From Dublin International Airport: take the Airlink bus to the Dublin City Centre, which leaves every 10 minutes during the week and every 20 minutes on Sundays. The bus departs from directly outside the Arrivals Terminal and arrives at the main bus station, which is a 2-minute walk from Abbott Lodge.
Alternatively, there is a regular double-decker Dublin Bus service (No 41) to the city centre, which is cheaper than the Airlink service, but runs less regularly and tends to take longer.
