We invite you to spend your visit to Dresden in the neo-reaissance villa on the river Elbe, built in 1893 for the opera singer Therese Malten. In the affectionately restored house there are 5 comfortably equipped rooms and 1 apartment all with bathrooms en suite (with shower or bathtub), free wireless internect access, a reading room with a fireplace and the guest kitchen at your disposal. We will be happy to serve you a full breakfast in the mornings and organize indiviual guided tours upon request to make it possible for you to see Dresden´s best side. You can reach the city center in 30 minutes via tram.
Sit back and enjoy a steamboat ride down the scenic river Elbe and view Dresden from a unique perspective or experience an exciting day trip to the wonderful Saxony Switzerland National park following the bicycle path along the river Elbe.
After an eventful day you should spend the evening on the terrace or in our big garden, where you can enjoy the view of the river Elbe and the castle Schloß Pillnitz. During the winter season you can comfortably relax and unwind in front of the fireplace.

Room Details

Some of the guest rooms at the Therese-Malten-Villa offer a beautiful view over the river Elbe such as the 2 double rooms, one of them with a private balcony and the former library, which is now a cosy single room. Couples looking for more privacy might prefer the 450 sq.ft. apartment with a bedroom and a living room with a kitchenette. A good choice for young families is the 390 sq.ft. quadruple with a large sleeping gallery. Last but not least, the Therese-Malten-Room (520 sq.ft.) impresses most of all through it´s wonderful ceiling fresco and it is furnished with antiques and modern furniture - king size bed (71 x 87 in.).
