Very friendly welcome, nice and clean room, comfortable shared sitting room, beautiful building with relaxing garden, warm personal contact with owner. Village itself is very small with not much to offer, but bigger villages with beautiful churches and castles are nearby, as is Chartres.

This place was VERY dificult to find and was waaay out in no were. Charters and other sigtseeings were atleast 30 min drive. This b&b had No visible sign in front and we drove by it 5 times. the check in time was 5 pm!! the hotel itself was old barnhouse and the 110 euro for one night waaay over priced!!!!!!!!

Very hospitable, very friendly. Good breakfast. Clean, comfortable but cozy rooms. Good public areas. A little difficult to find.

The site was very difficult to find -- at night and in the rain. Driving instructions need to be more specific. Good restaurants in nearby Mantinon, especially the Chinese restaurant near the Hotel de Ville. About 25 minutes to Chartres.
Room Details
Les Chandelles offers you double, triple and quadruple rooms, with the possibility to arrange a large suite for 7 or 8 people. All rooms have a colour TV and modern private bathrooms.The rooms are situated in a separate building next to the main house, each having a private entrance. The building also includes a common area with a fridge at guests' disposal.
All rooms are for non smokers. Dogs and pets are not allowed.

How to reach B&B Les Chandelles
By carComing from Paris: reach the Porte d'Auteuil and take the A13 motorway. Then take the A12 motorway towards Bois d'Arcy, Dreux, Rambouillet. Take then the N12 state road towards Dreux. Exit at Gambais (D179), follow the D983 towards Condé-sur-Vesgre and Nogent-Le-Roi. Proceed towards Lormaye, Nogent-le-Roi. Turn left onto the D116 towards Villiers-le-Morhier. Upon entering Chandelles, follow the main street and you will find the B&B on your right.
Coming from Chartres: take the D906 from Maintenon, and then take the D983 towards Nogent-le-Roi. Turn right onto the D101.3 towards Villiers-le-Morhier. Turn left passed the bridge towards Chandelles. At the stop sign, turn left. The B&B is on your left hand side.
