exterior Podere Benintendi is located in the heart of Tuscany, not far away from the medieval centers of San Gimignano, "the city of towers" (13 km) and Certaldo, Boccaccio's birthplace (2 Km). The construction rises on a hill, from here we can enjoy a splendid view on those nearby valleys. The house has been recently restaured and divided into 5 apartments and 5 rooms. Apartments and rooms look out on the garden, where we can admire different varieties of plants and flowers. On the surrounding space, you can find many relax areas, such as the characteristic "Concimaia", a very panoramic place endowed with pavilion, table, chairs and a romantic swing.


In the west, close to the construction, we can find a little natural lake, habitat of ducks and frogs, whose croaking amplifies the feeling of close contact with nature. For nature and good form's lovers, Podere Benintendi offers the opportunity of walking and training in the open air. The structure is endowed with a very big swimmingpool (4,5x17 m). Guests can enter into the pool through a roman flight of steps that dips softly into the water. Here you can spend pleasant instants steeped in relax and welfare. Close to the pool, under the wonderful terrace made up of stones, is the characteristic "Enoteca" in rustic style, where you can buy oil of our production. Adjoining to the Entoteca, you can find the gymnasium, that guests can use free.

In the farm are 5 rooms (on the first floor) that bear the name of famous Tuscan artists: DA VINCI, BOTTICELLI, BRUNELLESCHI, GIOTTO and DANTE.

Each room is equipped with conditioning air, private toilet with air-dryer, TV SAT. Rooms are in rustic style, with fir beams and old pieces of furniture.

On the second floor there is a kitchen at rooms guests disposition. Breakfast is included into the price of rooms: everyday a tasteful buffet is served on a wide terrace above the pool. From here you can admire the wonderful and characteristic Tuscan landscape.

APARTMENTS
The house is made up of 5 apartments, that bear the name of famous Tuscan artists: BOCCACCIO, RAFFAELLO, MICHELANGELO, PETRARCA and GALILEI.

Apartments have been restaured, in country style, with chestnut-wood beams and old pieces of furniture. Each apartment has been furnished with typical pieces of old Tuscan culture, in a confortable and functional way and is provided with conforts, such as heating and air conditioning (on request) and TV SAT and with table and chairs in front of the entrance in the open air.

Podere Benintendi is located in the heart of Tuscany, close to the main cities: Firenze, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano.

Arriving from FI-PI-LI (EMPOLI OVEST) follow the road signs to Castelfiorentino and, arrived in Castelfiorentino go on to Certaldo. At the first traffic lights (between "via Fratelli Cervi" and "via Agnoletti") turn left to "Lungagnana". After about 2 km you will find on the left the sign "Podere Benintendi": you are arrived!
