Bouganville B&B - Cefalù

Hearty and friendly welcome, nice young people running this B&B. You've got to walk about 20 minutes into town,private parking space next door, very nice and comfortable room and bathroom,with enough space, the house is freshly renovated, nice terrace to sit on whene the weahter is fine,

Really nice hotel and nice rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly. However, the location was not central (20 minutes walk up-hill from the centre).

Cefalu was a very nice place to stay and to visit between Taormine and Trapani.

The handsome brothers who run this establishment made one feel very comfortable and relaxed. The open foyer area was spacious and beautifully decorated. The patio area where breakfast was served was picturesque with colourful garden beds and tile work. Internet access was easy in the privacy of one's room, and the brothers were more than happy to help one print out necessary documents. Instructions on how to find the hotel from the station could have been more detailed. I grabbed a taxi there, relieved as it was an uphill hike most of the way, but an easy walk back into the centre and to the beach without a pack. Also easy to walk to the train station with one's pack too, as it's all down hill. A beautiful hotel complimented a beautiful city. The brothers are doing a great job here and I highly recommend it, especially if you also appreciate handsome staff. Antonio Castello. Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

A 15 minute walk from the beach and 20 minutes from the town centre, this B&B is perched up above the town of Céfalu. This has the advantage of being calm with a view of the sea (the breakfast on the terrasse is a definite highlight). On the other hand, the road to the B&B is quite steep and hard work late at night after a restaurant in the centre. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fairly complete, with fruit, yoghurts, bread and cakes, fruit juice and coffee. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we had to pay cash as the card machine wasn't working, but presumably this has since been resolved! Overall an enjoyable stay, but expensive in August (the rest of the year, the prices seem more reasonable).

We were really disappointed of this place. The walls of the room are so thin, you hear literally everything. Next to us someone was snoring and it felt like the house was hit by an earthquake. Downstairs in the common areas people were sitting until late in the morning and you could hear every single word. As topping on the salad, the property is located at a sharp corner, so that cars will honk extensively to make themselves heard whenever they pass by, INCLUDING by night!!! For all these reasons, we had a very bad stay :-(

Safe and convenient parking. New and modern facilities with internet access. Family run, pleasant and helpful.

Fabrizio and the staff were exceptioal. Bouganville B&B is a bargain. You won't find a friendlier or more helpful staff. The breakfast was a little weak, but so what at the bargain price. Enjoyed our stay there very much. I do recommend it.

Lovely B&B run by two helpful young English-speaking guys. Welcomed with a jug of cold orange juice on a hot day - very thoughtful! Beautiful views and gardens, nice terrace for breakfast. Access a little tricky - steep narrow road and steep entrance to parking area.

It is a new, fantastic and good value, just good as it is.

Very nice, clean and modern rooms, nice welcoming. I would highly recommend it!
