Bed and Breakfast Dolce Vita - Cefalù

We had a 2 weeks fantastic stay at Dolce Vita. No elevator, but we knew that. Beatiful sunsets! Recomend Restaurant La Botte, next street. Take what they propose..

Extremely friendly staff & clean, spacious rooms (Sicily style)

We loved our stay in the room called Sylvia with a nice view ( be it a bit sideways) of the sea; small balcony, good bed, nice paintwork in blue. The terrace on the roof is wonderful. Breakfast is served on the Piazza Duomo 'a due passi', sitting down outside at one of the bars, which is a very nice solution. I hope to come back to Cefalu some day, and then certainly to this B&B.

Dolce Vita is a great B&B, clean and friendly. It is situated in the heart of the old town of Cefalu, and that is very agreeable too (if a little noisy at night). The only problem we had was to find the hotel with a car. Old Cefalu is hard to navigate into when you're new to it, and there was only one sign we could see indicating where Dolce Vita was. But once we settled, everything was perfect. They have the most fantastic terrace overlooking the sea. Breakfast takes place on the Cathedral Square.

What a great location! Nice sea breeze, wifi, clean facility. All one needs. And the off season prices was quite attractive - Euro 50 in early-mid Nov when we stayed. There are stairs to navigate with bags/packs but if that's not a problem for you, I would highly recommend.

This is the best little find in Sicily. I had an apartment with kitchen, bedroom with views on the sea and a private terrace. The breakfast is not at the B&B but at a lovely little Pasticceria in the main Piazza in front of the Duomo. Perfection!

The only real downside for car users is that access by car to the hotel and parking is a problem as all the spaces in the area are for residents only and you risk a fine. The carpark is 10 minutes walk and difficult to drive back to the hotel as all one way. Also a steep flight of stairs to carry luggage. But space is short in old Cefalu and they do their best. The top rooms have access to a terrace overlooking the sea. They responded very well to our preference for a quiet twin bedded room by providing us for the same price a double family room. Much appreciated.

Very nice place to stay in Cefalu, it's just next to the sea and in the middle of the town centre, the right place to be. Location is superb. Very friendly and helpful staff. The roof terrace, overlooking the sea, is simply amazing and is hard to beat. Rooms are nice, especially their apartment (window overlooking the sea!). Can highly recommend this place. Breakfast (a basic Italian one: croissant with juice/coffee, don't expect too much) is taken in a cafe on the Duomo square, a very nice location to start your day. Parking near the place is (almost) impossible (parking is only for residents and the streets are very narrow), but free parking is available in the harbour area of Cefalu, a 700m walk away (on the other side of the 'rock'); or otherwise (paid?) parking near the Cefalu beach.

Dolce Vita has a beautiful location in the heart of Cefalú. Pros: + Location: just couple of steps from Duomo. + View: already beautiful view from the room, and even more marvelous from the common terrace. + Service was kind, already called before to be ready and available when we arrived. Cons: - Parking might be a problem on a more busy day (eg. in summer) - Heating: we were there in Feb and heating was supposed to be arrenged thru the A/C which in reality was not enough. Fortunately there were enough blankets available. Of course this is not an issue in warmer seasons.
