Bed and Breakfast Atlantide - Cefalù

Without GPS the hotel is at night impossible to locate. Customers need a perfect route plan.

A very quiet place with a wonderful view of cefalu'. Ideal place for having a peaceful holiday away from the busy cities. Staff is very helpful and welcoming.

Not easy to find ! The best way is to follow the hotel Santa Lucia and turn left if you're coming from Cefalù.Not the best breakfast-beautiful view

Only italian spoken. Car mut be parked outside even if indoor parking is avalaible. Beautiful seeing but the house is really far from Cefalu, not easy to find and the road is very narrow.

Buon B&B, l'unica cosa che dal sito non si capisce è che si trova a circa 6 km da Cefalù, non è proprio vicino, anche perchè la strada è tutta curve e sale sulla collina.

We had a great time, the view is amazing and the room are really ok.

We spent two nıghts here ın May 2009. It was our least favorıte B&B durıng our 3 weeks ın Sıcıly. It was SO far from town on wıdıng, one lane roads, that you really dıdn't want to be drıvıng home after dark. But there was a bıg sıgn ın the kıtchen sayıng that the kıtchen was not avaılable for guest's use. Usually, ıf you are not located ın town, you get the advantage of quıet. But at the ATlantıde, the sounds of the hıghway below reverberate through the hılls and make a lot of noıse all nıght. Also, I don't know that Claudıo ıs cut out to run a B&B. When we arrıved, he ascertaıned our names, showed us the room, asked what tıme we wanted breakfast, and gave us the gate opener. But dıd not ıntroduce hımself tıll we asked hıs name, and dıdn't show us the map of Cefalu that was ın the room. We chased hım down the next day to ask where you could park legally ın Cefalu -- he answered the questıon and then left before we could ask another... But ıt IS a lovely vıew.

Pesima atencion y ubicacion. Despues de subir una montaña en auto 20 minutos y con mucho calor, nos atendieron como si fueramos ladrones, no nos dejaron siquiera pasar a la recepcion, dijeron que no estaba confirmada la reserva. Finalmente alguien de alli se mostró con mejor actitud y nos recomendó otro lugar. NO VAYAN!!

Depuis la terrasse,devant les chambres, vue extraordinaire sur Cefalu. Petit déjeuner copieux servi sur la terrasse.

Hotellocation is perfect for a quit stay. Marveles view. Breakfast is perfect. Only the mosquitos at night in the room in a negative point

Es ist ein Haus mit einer großartigen Aussicht, sehr ruhig gelegen mit einer schönen Terrasse. Diese konnten wir jedoch leider wegen des regnerischen und kühlen Wetters kaum nutzen. Der Aufenthalts-/ Frühstücksraum war leider nicht beheizbar. Mit 9Grad Celsius (Ostern)und Regen haben wir nicht gerechnet. Bei schönem warmen Wetter ist diese Unterkunft sicherlich traumhaft.

After dark, it may be difficult to find this place because it located on top of hill near Cefalu. The view from the terrace is great. The shower needs better drainage.

It was almost impossible to find. There should have been a map or clear indications where the property was located. It took us over an hour to find the place.

Breakfast is poor and not good. But there is a lovely view from Bed & Breakfast Atlantide.

The room was clean. Not easy to reach but with the instructions given by the owner and the road signs we found it quite easily. It's all worth it, the view is absolutely stunning!

On the negative side: 1/ the B&B is not very well sign-posted and difficult to find. 2/ The shared kitchen facilities advertised contain an oven / cooker which doesn not work; that means we were not able to cater for ourselves. 3/ The B&B is quite far from restaurants and other amenities and from Cefalu itself. You have to be prepared to negotiate the small sinuous roads in pitch dark after nightfall. 4/ Breakfast ham & cheese toasties were made with cheap pre-packaged ingredients. It is a shame considering Sicily has such great variety of tasty cold meats and cheeses. On the positive side: 1/ The rooms are very clean and relatively spacious. 2/ There are outside loungers, garden furniture and a handy washing line. 3/ The views and panorama are impressive.

This is a family B&B. We had not a very good start due to electricity problem of the owner which originaly resulted in intention to relocate us to another hotel. This was not prepared at all and we felt very bad at that time. Fortunately during our waiting electricity started to work and we could stay. The view of the city is amazing. Breakfast amazing. Private parking free of charge. Room very average and bed... - I fell down on the floor during the night as the bed was not flat. Bathroom average - you do not have a place where to put shower gel.

You need to be at ease on the way (which is no obvious in Sicily, unless you're a native !)because the oad to access Atlantide is not properly said a highway but more a way in height. Though, it's ormal, you have to deserve what you'll find once arived. The owner is very friendly, the place is wondeful, the house is perfect the viw is gorgeous. Paradise on earth.

We stayed 1 night and would reccomend this beautifully situated B& B but be prepared for the very long drive to reach it.

We did not know, that Atlantide is far outside Cefalù; it takes 15 minutes by car on serpentine roads to get there. We were glad about the big kitchen with possibility of cooking one's own meal.

Cefalu is quite enjoyable. Atlantide was pleasant, but breakfast was not spectacular. I would recommend it to others.

Rooms were great. Their son brought us breakfast every morning to our door. We will stay there again in Sicily. We are a Oklahoma USA couple.

The owner e-mailed details of how to find his property but these arrived after we had left home. Even with these we would have had some difficulty finding the property. However his directions by phone were adequate. My main complaint was the location shown on your web page lik which indicated that the property was in Cefalu was totally misleading and caused us a large amount of difficulty. An indication of the distances on the various sections of the route would be helpful as this property is way out of town.

Hi everybody !! The Atlantide is much moor better than you can never imagine on your mind by info at web pages scenery and surroundings are very excellent you are living there above sea and footsteps on the mountain all the traffic noises and crowded citys far on your eyes,rooms are in good condision and well keeped clean and chanse linen and towels daily.Car is recommended cause place is up to hill and far away from station(3-4 kms;2 miles)food is good and you can choose what ever you want for breakfast(exemple we get juice,tea,bread and salami with fresh eggs and after that all warm briocches by hot chocolate,bread was too warm many mornings just from nearby bakery made.)We are positive upptaken how this place could be better than he provides by web,but it is possible in this place.We can recommend very,very much this property for anyone who are going to sicily...here are some photos from our journey

Claudio Barbera and his gentle staff are lovely people, and their place is so marvellous, simple and beautiful. We had a sensation of homeness, and we recommand Atlantide to all the lovers of the south, and particularly Sicilia (where they eventually can fall on lesser places). Bravo ! For us, we'll come back as sooner as possible...

Our regret was to stay too short time in this wonderful location. Rooms very clean and incredible view!!!! Not usually to have DVD in the room. Better than many hotels. Breakfast was excellent. Total peace. First class bed and breakfast. The best in Sicily in our trip.Highly raccomended.

An incredible b&b!!!! Very very easy to find and only 5 minutes from the beach and the town. In a total peace. The owner send us the map before the departure. The view is fantastic. A dream place!!!! All is perfect. You can find between a lot of kind of different breakfast and you can choose the hour of your breakfast. Totally unexpected was to have Polish TV channel in the room!!!! You can use even a well-furnished kitchen if you want. Room are very clean. We raccomend to stay in this place

We were at first time in Cefalu, only for one night, unfortunately. First we were irritated during our driving to the "Atlantide" because the street goes around some hills and we can`t see the end of our trip. But when we reach the "Atlantide" we were very enthusiatic about the location high above the valley of Cefalu with such a view. The next time we will come to Cefalu we will stay there I`m sure.

The best b&b we saw in Sicily. Very easy to find thanks to many signs. Wonderful location, great view. All was perfect, charming. We surely come back!!!!!!

Upon arrival there were a few tentitive minutes when we weren't sure we would be able to claim our room - it being 4.55pm. Eventually the very helpfull neighbours awoke the owner to announce our arrival and all was well. Once inside, everything was really good. Great view (after the 15 minute drive up the hill); photos don't do the terrace justice. Rooms were excellent and breakfast lovely. Directions could be better though, so don't arrive too late. Heading out of Cefalu (towards Palermo) it's the first (or second?) left after you have crossed the railway lines, up the hill, and it is not sign posted! From the second junction onwards the sign posting is clear so long as you arrive in daylight. Don't be fooled by previous reviews on distance, I measured more than 7km from the town centre, but it's worth it if you want piece and quiet and the great view.

Wonderfull situation on top of a ''poggio'' in front of Cefalu, clean rooms, good breakfast but not so generous, some noises (discussions) in the morning, location difficult to find : precise to take road to Poggio Mannia (?) on the West side of Cefalu (ok then)

Make sure you've got a car, it's about 1 hour walk to down town Cefalu and more than 30 minutes to the beach. Other is perfect, worth coming.

My English girlfriend and me (French) have loved this B and B. The view is beautiful, the house quiete, the manager really friendly who knows how to mix friendship and respect your privacy. The house is not close (4km)to the beach or Cefalu but your far from noises, other tourists...A proper place for young couples who look for lovely holidays!

We absolutely loved this B&B. The view of Cefalu is fantastic and the hospitality was also great! We really hope to go back soon.

Although some distance from Cefalu, Atlantide is easy to find thanks to many signs. The benefit of the location is total peace and quiet and a fantastic view over the sea and town below. The facilities are first class, and the whole experience very relaxing.
