Bed and Breakfast Marechiaro - Cavallino Treporti

Booked a quadruple room! Warm welcoming, private parking lot, spacious living room (with table, chairs, kitchen, bunk bed, sofa and TV). Bedroom with double bed and wardrobe next to the nice bathroom. Breakfast have been included. Coffee, juice, milk and tea possible. The buns where unfortunately more like burger buns but that is the only thing which could be changed. We got bikes for free and also an umbrella for the beach! So the helfulness and service was really great! The location is also perfect. 10 minutes to Punta Sabbioni and 10-15 minutes to the beach (with the bikes even faster). The restaurant nearby (10% off for the tenants of Marechiaro and also 10% off for members of ADAC). It was really a very good restaurant. We would come back to Marechiaro!

Though Venice in April is a little too cold, the B&B Marechiaro made it a little bit of Paradise! I was stunned and delighted when we first saw our room, which was large, lovely, delicately fragrant, and immaculately clean. The room is also very, very quiet due to country surrroundings. Renata, Roberto, and Francesca were superb hosts -- warm, friendly, extremely helpful, and generous with all the facilities of the B&B. They've built a lovely place to stay, and we're planning on going back as soon as we can! (But maybe not so early in the year.) Continental breakfast is offered every morning, with a yogurt, plenty of breads and pastries, and all the espressos, cappuccinos, mochas, hot milk or chocolate, or lattes you want served from their excellent espresso drink machine. Yum! Room price includes bicycles for guests to bike to the boat dock. If the weather is too wet for biking, the dock has parking for 9 Euros (I think) per day. We bought weekly passes so we could ride the boats and buses everywhere -- just 50 Euros each, and a bargain even if you only use them for 5 days instead of 7. The nearest restaurant is about 100 meters away, and the food, service, and wine are all excellent. Menus are in Italian, German (this area's second language), French, and English. Dinner there can be a long, leisurely evening, or a quick pizza and a sinful dessert. We were so happy during our week here, we gave Marechiaro a 10 in every area, and we wish it could have been an 11!

The Owners are wery kindly and helpfull. Everything in room is clean and fragrant. Lovely place and good location to visit Venice, Murano, Torcelli etc.

It was our first time at Marechiaro B & B, and we loved it. It wasn't easy to find the B & B, however, because we didn't have sufficient information on how to get there. It would perhaps be a good idea to tell travellers that they should go to Punta Sabbioni first - the description "situated between the Cavallino - Treporti litorals" was definitely not enough. Breakfast was a bit different from what we expected, as the hosts provided "the ingredients", so to speak, and we made breakfast ourselves in our kitchen. For us, that was perfect, because it gave us a maximum of freedom. Other people might wish to have breakfast served to them, but we prefer it this way. We had a lovely stay at Marechiaro B & B. The hosts were very nice and helpful, indeed. We couldn't have hoped for better hosts. We can definitely recommend this B & B to other travellers and we intend to stay there again when we're going to Italy next time.
