Bed and Breakfast XX Miglia - Catania

Hi there, I don't wanna write £&/>?*§(/çé%°$£*)£°/$%....... lots of things. Coz XX miglia is 100% perfect B&B. Close to the station 5min(Catania Cle). Rooms,kitchen,etc..all nice(cute). Best are Christian & Angelo.They were everyday ask me What did U done yesterday?,Where do U go today? Then they were always teach me how to get there,check for me WEATHER,BUS,TRAIN'S time tables all kind of way. They are excellent!!! I miss them. + Their NONNA(grand ma). She's from Toscana.. I live in PISA(Toscana),she's always nice smile to me!!! When I back to Catania,200% I'll back to XX miglia!!! Then next time in XX miglia,I wanna drink with them + cook Japanese food for them... Thanks XX miglia! Grazie mille tutti.Ci vediamo un giorno in futuro.In Catania o Australia!!! Please all of you just try! then will see how nice!!! BANZAI XX miglia!!! Ciao.

You will have to climb some stairs, but the hosts of xxMiglia help you with your luggage - and frankly: they resolve any possible problem that might get in the way between you and a delightfully stay in Sicily. Our room, a bright colloured attic, had a modest but clean bathroom included. The bed is firm and the hosts provide bathrobes and clean towels on the third day Breakfast with maisbread, fresh fruit, several traditional pastries and coffee as you like it, is served at a patio terrace, with a wind-up roof when the sun is out. We thought we came to Sicily well prepared, but Angelo & Cristiano showed us good restaurants for decent prices, booked us homes around the island and juggled even the bright warm sun into our soackingly raining arrival day; magical!

I stayed for 3 days in Catania and I chose XX Miglia for its location (very close to via etnea) The staff is very helpful and friendly. A small minus is breakfast but maybe is the typical breakfast in all Italy, a lot of sweets (pancakes, pies, croissants, fruits, yogurt, mellons - no meat or eggs, (I'm used more with english breakfast..) but I'm sure that if you tell that to Cristian or Angelo(the owners) they will be happy to make a different breakfast for you. Overall, I'm happy that I chose XX Miglia. Ciao

My stay at XX Miglia really made my trip to Catania memorable and wonderful. The people here were so sweet to me, and gave me a warm welcome after a long day of travel. The place is really nice. You have your privacy while still being in the close quarters of a home. The place is small, but very well furnished & cleaned. This is a place I would love to come back to. So thank you to XX Miglia (& to the venere website for helping me find this place). Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Very nice B&B and very friendly and helpful proprietors. Much more comfortable than most accommodations in this price range. Handy location and the building has an authentic character. Only caveat is that there are many stairs to climb so a challenge for people with mobility issues.

C. and A. are very welcoming and caring guys, committed to make your stay the best possible. Human warmth and great helpfulness, along with discretion and attention to details are ingredients to your all-stay-long feeling-at-home sensation. And really their care for always improving their place and services will never let you feel uneasy or in lack for something. Their B&B is a very coloured, all comforts modern-style place IN THE VERY CITY CENTER that you would never imagine hidden upstairs of a definitely old-style, real catanese block of flats!

I have to separate management and the hotel and location. The management of the hotel is very friendly, welcoming and English-speaking. Nice home-made breakfast, kitchen facilities is abailable. Management is really helpful, you can get Internet, maps, advices free of charge. I would thank them for nice time and smiles :)) But the hotel is located on the 5ht floor! No elevator (lift) - great gymnastics ;)) You have to call to the hotel so manager will come to help you with your stuff. You will get 5 keys from every door to get to your room :))) so it takes time. Room is small, with windows on the slope of the roof but everything is new and very-very clean.
