A nice stay, Erminia is a friendly owner that provide you with all the informations to visit Etna, Acicastello, Acitrezza. There are a lot of good fish restaurants situated in front of the sea,you have many choices, there are also some boat excursions for Ciclopi isles and Grotta di Ulisse, and it's a good starting point for a day trip to Taormina and Naxos beaches. Absolutely avoid Acireale and Catania.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Ortensia.. our hostess delightful and very helpful. The garden is nice and we had fresh roses in our room. Also don't miss the breakfast sponge cake!

If you use the GPS to arrive to Villa Ortensia you have to look for ACICASTELLO , not Aci Castello

Le jardin est très beau et très bien entretenu, le petit déj(qui manque de produits frais mais copieux) en terrasse permet d'en profiter.

Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and gave excellent advice on restaurants, touring options, etc. in the region. The open patio overlooking their attractive gardens was an excellent place for breakfast. Our only problem was initially finding the property on a dark rainy evening. As we experienced almost everywhere on our Sicilian trip, small B&Bs are extremely difficult to find amongst the tangle of narrow one-way streets. Next trip we're going to have a GPS device in our car.

Villa Ortensia si trova a 15 km dall'areoporto di Catania (proprio di fronte alla stazione del bus). Aci Castello è in posizione perfetta per gite in luoghi suggestivi (Etna, Catania, Taormina, Siracusa, Noto, ragusa, Modica). I dintorni di Villa Ortensia offrono tutto ciò che si può chiedere a un luogo di villeggiatura (ristoranti, negozi, farmacie...) Le 3 stanze (1 vista mare) sono silenziosissime e immerse in un bel giardino. La colazione, semplice e familiare, è servita all'orario richiesto. C'è un comodo parcheggio. L'ospitalità è professionale e discreta. In definitiva Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Suggerimento: tende più coprenti in modo da rendere le stanze più buie al mattino.

One day I woke up with a fixed idea ... My B & B I want to dedicate to my favorite artists!Klimt, Monet, Van Gogh and Vintage! And voila!
All rooms have private bathroom with shower and hairdryer (on request), set of towels and shower-shampoo, TV, air conditioning and heating in winter.
We clean the rooms every morning and change of linen and towels are changed every 3 days!
