Catania City Center BandB was very clean and comfortable. The staff person was friendly and helpful, she did not seem to be in a hurry, taking her time to explain everything to me and answer questions. The only negative quality is the neighborhood. It is a little seedy. I felt fine but someone more sensative might object. If you are looking for a clean comfortable place to spend a night or two, close to the city center, at a very reasonable price and you are not interested in the neighborhood this is the place for you.

Nice B&B, just 10 minutes walking to the Duomo. However, the streets surrounding the B&B have few shops and are too dark by night. Of course, impossible to park there, moreover, it is advisable not to enter Catania driving, it is a chaos! The rooms are different, each one with a unique style. I was in a wonderful one full of colour and butterflies, with red walls, and had a free PC with internet next to it. The room even had a dvd player and there were some films to watch on a shelf in the kitchen, most of them with audio or subtitles in other languages than Italian. The staff (Angela) was extremely kind and helpful, advising you about transport, ice creams or beautiful places to visit. The breakfast was served in a kitchen, around a table, like at home. In few words, a fantastic B&B to stay when you visit Catania (a nice city to know).

We stay just for one night in Catania. A very good welcoming from the B&B. A very spacious room, quite with goods accomodation. The bathrooms has to me more clean especially the shower. Good situation, not very far from the city center.

On my trip to Sicilia did I spend two nights in CataniaCityCenter. I have never met that kind of hospitality! The house is old and has many stairs, but the rooms are nice, decorated with beautiful details. Anna and Angela made everything to make me feel welcome. On the breakfast table there was for example bread, cheese, jam, salami, mortadella, juice, milk, tea and lovely coffee. I was arriving very late and leaving very early as well, but the staff was kindly serving and helping me marvelous.

2 adults, 12yo,16yo,3 nights in very spacious quad room with spacious bathroom. we previously read about the very warm welcome and friendly staff and were not dissappointed (thank you carla and your "stage"). reasonable priced restaurants were easily accessable however we couldnt find any supermarkets. email the hotel if u want to visit mt etna (mt etna was well worth the cost, we bussed it then paid for the extras once we were there..get there early if u want to walk to the very top, its a 6 hr return walk from the last accessable spot). overall: catania is catania, interesting, and fairly well priced, not that touristy and streets remind me of Malta a bit

(POSITIVE) Personal was very welcoming and helpful. Valentina provided us very accurate instructions how to find the property. She also helped us with an excursion to Etna (a rather good one!) Very good to have free internet Good location - close to city centre and bus stop (especially, if you now the way) (NEGATIVE) Our room had a private bathroom, but it was not inside the room-rather uncomfortable Very cold stone floor without carpets (bad in winter). Unfortunally, there were problems with internet - it was'n always avaliable. It's not so close to the train and bus stations as we expected from the description.

This was as good a B&B as I have stayed in in Europe for the price. Don't be put off by the non-descript entrance and street - the rooms were supurb and the lovely Valentina is the best host you would ever have.

This B&B was a little shabby, but quirky and clean. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful, and the B&B was within easy walking distance of the historic city center.

The rooms were great but breakfast was terrible in the morning we had to pick our breakfast if there was breakfast. My wife is a diabetic and there was not enough food for her because there were only biscuits not anything like bread or something to feed your stommic, and only sweet things nothing like cheese or meat. She had to buy some food for her in a supermarket.

The main picture that was shown in the advertisement was not of the property. The door picture was correct. From my perspective this place is misrepresented. It is in a very questionable neighborhood. We weren’t sure that all would be well with our rental car for our early departure from CTA. We actually stopped in front of the B & B after 3 attempts to trying to get down the tiny one-way street and rejected staying there in favor of a different hotel in a different area of Catana. Do you want to stay here? How much of an adventure are you up for?

Our stay for one night in Catania City Center was excellent, especially the warm welcoming and the kindness of the employees as well as the beautyful bedroom! Gathering arround the breakfast table in the morning allowed to get to know other guests which was also very nice. Even so for a longer stay (1 week or so) I would may be appreciate the possibility of a more intimate breakfast place. With kind regards Sonja

We loved this hotel! Upon our arrival we were greeted by our very friendly hostess who welcomed us inside and offered us some champagne; she had just finished her University exams that day and was celebrating. She was so nice as was the entire experience. The room was large, clean and very nice. She served a very generous breakfast and gave us information about Catania. Unfortunately our stay was too short. The only slight drawback of this hotel is that it's a bit far to drag your luggage to the train and bus terminals, but that's the way that Catania is situated. It's still a very close walking distance to the center. Stay here! It's great!
