We had an excellent stay at B&B Globetrotter. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We had some difficulty finding the B&B but Marie came out with her cell phone and found us and guided us in. We were able to park right in front of the location. Ample breakfast. Ideal location for exploring Catania on foot. Excellent value for the price. Would definitely recommend to all.

This lovely place is well located with exceptional service from front desk girls and Marie. I travel all the time this would be the best continental breakfast ever. One suggestion if I may, a warm under blanket between the mattress and bottom sheet would be grateful as it adds to comfort and warmth. Little concerned re stairway as no lift and very narrow. WELL DONE GLOBE TROTTER....... A

Orientation: Directions should be to 46 Via Auteri. Vicolo Lanterna is a pedestrian alley. Noise: All sounds and noise inside BB and outside from alley, are heard inside the room. Needed to sleep with sealed window and ear plugs. Electric water pump of another room in building, connected to toilette and shower systems, whirred noisily every few minutes all night. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, speaks English. Location: walking distance from tourist attractions. Breakfast: generous.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was fine but with no window ! There was a lack of hooks in the bathroom for hanging your towel. The surrounding area looked more shaby than we expected. The price was very good and the breakfast was adequate.

Good value for my money. Spacious room. Located in the middle of the city, near Duomo and tourist info (5 min walk) but also next to the fresh market -- a bit noisy environment.

People from B&B were nice and helpfull, place is clean and cosy, but B&B is near railway station which is not a very nice and safe area. my sister got rubbed few minutes away from B&B, which caused us lots of problems due to her identification card stolen. furhemore, coffee machine didn't work 2 days out of 3 and in our last day we had no hot watter.breakfast is usual italian (sweets, milk, juice)

I'm absolutely content of my stay at Globetrotter, it was exactly as described, a nice and cozy place right in the center of the city, close to everywhere. The hosts gave me kind welcoming and all the info i needed. The hotel facilities were also ok, good breakfast, wifi internet and access to kitchen. Besides, good value for money. My stay was short but i managed to see most of the important places, i think. I've also done a whole day tour to Etna, wow! also, quite comfortable as the jeep picked me from the hotel. I'd surely stay there again if i come back, mainly due to the atmosphere.

This b&b in Catania is my top choice when staying in Sicily! The host Daniele is a person who really loves to help and to give good advices to his guestes. I've visited Sicily and Catania many times and stayed at various hotels and hostels. Then I discovered Globetrotter b&b and have never wanted to stay anywhere else. Thank you, Daniele. It was a wonderful time staying with you. Highly recommended.

My time in Catania was so wonderful not only because of the nice city and the island and the people in general, but especcially because of the warm welcome, the very nice rooms, the friendly atmosphere and the great service in the Globetrotter hostel! If you ever come to Catania - stay in the "Globetrotter"!
