B&B Crociferi Catania - Catania

We found that the owners went above and beyond to accomodate us. We were thrilled with the size of the room which we found to be very clean and spacious. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that we had our own private bathroom. The B&B was centrally located in the city centre, close to many restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.

My husband and I had vacation in Sicilia and 2 nights at Crociferi B&B. we are very satisfied with the room, the bed, the breakfast and the hostess. She was so nice and we feel like in home. I will definately stay there again if I would come back to Catania. For sure I will come back for another summer holiday.

-One in a million- In Catanias baroque street nr 1 you´ll find this cosy B&B on a very good location to see both Catania and surroundings. Very nice rooms, excellent breakfast, good price and not to forget our host who really makes our holiday fantastico. Teresa and Marco were welcomming varm and very helpfull with all. Definite we´ll stay here again and to all who´ll see Catania and the eastcoast : Go for this one.

I visited Catania with my sister at the end of a recent holiday in Sicily. The B&B Crociferi was a delightful place to stay. It's a short walk from the Fish Market, shops, restaurants and other tourist attractions in downtown Catania. Teresa is a wonderful hostess, who speaks excellent English, and we felt very welcome. She helped us arrange a trip to Mount Etna, which was high on our list of things to do while in Catania. The breakfasts were delicious, nutritious, different every day, and eaten in a very pretty kitchen. I think that they were the best breakfasts that we had in Sicily. Across the street to the B&B Crociferi is an excellent restaurant called Metro. Well worth trying!

Accoglienza splendida, i due proprietari vivono nel B&B e questo lo rende un vero bed and breakfast. I titolari sono molto simpatici e disponibili, il loro cane Kalì è altrettanto gioviale. La colazione è stata una delle migliori del nostro soggiorno siciliano. La città è molto bella e a parte qualche zona da evitare deve essere vista. Se volete mangiare nel locale sotto il B&B (che appena arrivati non noterete ma che verso le 18.30 comincerà a montare i tavoli sulla strada) prenotate per tempo (come in tutti i locali siciliani, specie ad agosto: ti diranno che non è il caso ma poi non troverete posto). Le stanze erano pulite e comode, il bagno fuori dalla stanza era un po' scomodo, però pulito, largo e con una doccia comoda. Appena arrivati gustatevi la granita ai gelsi (consigliata anche questa dagli squisiti proprietari del B&B). Lasciate perdere le gole di Alcantara: per noi è stata una fregatura, 5 euro buttati in quanto non sono nulla di che, ma per chi ha come unico sfogo il mare rappresentano la possibilità di fare un bagno in un fiume in un posto suggestivo... Noi eravamo di fretta e non avevamo la tenuta da bagno, per cui siamo rimasti parecchio delusi.

Very good is situation of the hotel in city centre, but on more quit street. We were travelling with my wife an two friends. We are very pleased

A lovely place to stay in Catania. The only possible drawback is that the private bathrooms are across the corridor from the bedrooms. Otherwise the accommodation exceeded our expectations. The best breakfast we had during our whole holiday in Sicily!

Me and my husband spent two nights at B&B Crociferi and we were delighted with the room we got. The hostess was nice and helpful and it was close to sightseeing and shopping. In the street lies also many beautiful baroque churches.

What a warm welcome! this was exactly what I was looking for! A large room,very good breakfast.A home!Theresa speaks perfect English(and Germain) bakes good kaces,and gives good tips as to what to do-shops ,nature markets-you name it!
