The owner was very welcoming, even though we arrived really late (we had found it extremely difficult to find the place!)She gave us cake and tea and let us get up when we wanted,laying out a large breakfast for the two of us. An excellent welcome!

Loved this place - its a little hard to find, we were lucky enouch to have a TomTom to guide us there. Its on a road adjacent to the motorway so I guess if your room was on that side of the house it may get a little noisy but we had a room on the other side facing the farm. This place feels like its in the middle of nowhere but it is only a short drive to the Lake and to the township. very peaceful. being a farmhouse there are animals around - the owners have atleast 2 dogs so take that into consideration if you are allergic. The breakfast provided was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Wonderful place - stayed 2 nights, wanted to stay longer. Best place we stayed in Italy

I've had to present a meeting in Desenzano, and the choice of Castiglione d.S. was great: 15'downtown to the Lake, very quiet and very poor in tourists. Excellent meat in Hostaria Viola too.
