Grande disponibilità da parte del gestore a fornire informazioni circa itinerari da effettuare nella zona. Paesaggi bellissimi, vista dal Casato spettacolare e qualità del posto molto buona. Unica "pecca" il ristorante, con scarsa varietà di piatti. Incredibile la vista del cielo di notte.

This is a lovely hotel. It is very peaceful and the staff are very pleasant. The views from the swimming pool, restaurant and gardens are for miles around. The restaurant served a limited lunch and the dinner is not extensive but the food is very nice. We stayed here for three nights and ate in Giaole and San Guste (recommended by the hotel) both of which were fairly nearby and very good. The hotel is in a very quite spot but has easy access to the motorway to Siena and the south. Rooms are air conditioned and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful break but with the opportunity to go out and see some sights.

I spent 3 nights at the Borgo Casato with my two teens and my mother. The staff was fantastic; helpful and left nothing to be desired. They even gave us eggs and milk when the stores were closed on Sunday and we wanted to cook dinner in the room. The area is beautiful and it was one of our favorite places in Italy. I would definitely recommend and I would return!

We planned our 2-night stay there as a rest during our Italy Tour between Florence and Rome. We didn't get the sunny days we hoped for in order to fully enjoy the pool, the view and the Toscanian fresh air; fortunately the hotel's central location facilitated our visits of Siena, Montepulciano and Montalcino. We were disapointed with the noise level for 2 reasons: 1) There was a (small) Italian wedding happening at the "resort" during our stay which certainly deteriorated the usual quietness and 2) our room (which offered a great view) gave on the alley between the hotel and restaurant entrances. Finally, note that the owners didn't speak English nor French...

Borgo Casto is a place to return to again because of its location within the Chianti region and the kindness of the hosts. The room was charming and comfortable. The restaraunt was closed for dining, however the breakfast was large. A large covered patio is available for dining and enjoying local vintages. It is recommended for those desiring a peaceful location to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany countryside.

By car
From the highway, take the exit Firenze-Certosa. Turn right in direction of Siena until the junction Arezzo-Perugia. Follow the signs to Arezzo-Perugia and at the 14th kilometer, turn left in direction of Castelnuovo Berardenga. After the hill at the entrance of the village, follow the indications to Arezzo on the right and pass Podere Pozzo and Podere Casaloni. After a few metres, turn right on a dirt road and you will find the Borgo Casato B&B.
