Christina's warm welcome and enthusiastic support for our visit made everything a real pleasure. Our room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast excellent (Christina even went especially to get decaffeinated coffee for me!) and she was very helpful in recommending restaurants and other places of interest for our stay. La Costa was well situated for exploring Cassino and the area.

Beatiful spacious rooms overlooking the mountains, a beautiful house, parking space, but the best thing was the wonderful hospitality of the owner Christina and her family, you cannot dream of more welcoming people. everything was just perfect. we were on our way from Napoli to Roma and this was the ideal place to stop for the night from the long drive. a wonderful b&b and even more wonderful people. We stayed in Cassino one night. It was a great place to stop on our way from Rome to southern Italy, not too far from the airport after a long flight, and with the beautiful monastery to visit (free admission!) in the morning before a long drive. Very quiet and pleasant house, very welcoming host who made sure we understood everything even if we spoke only a little Italian and she spoke no English. The only thing you have to remember is that it's a little out of town so you might have to walk 15-20 minutes to find a restaurant. Interesting DVD's and books about the Montecassino Abbaye and the Montecassino battle. We had a wonderful dinner at a restaurant called La Cantina.

The B&B was chosen for the one night stop over. Owners are very kind. As we rented two rooms we had our own bathroom, otherwise it is shared. The bathroom is small but rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. The continental breakfast is served.

We addressed La Costa in Cassino as part of a Cabrio tour from Switzerland to Lazio and back. We passed 2 nights in La Costa and enjoyed the priviate place shortly outside the city. At this early time of the season, only few tourists were arround and the stay was very relaxing. Nice bed & Breakfast.

Hostess and host at La Costa werw extremely friendly and forthcoming. A TV with DVD-player was installed in room upon request - very unusual. However, bathroom and wc were outside the room, access to property would by most guests be considered very difficult (up a very narrow ca. 10% incline). Breakfast consisted of one cup of coffee, one pastry with some jam and a few biscuits. In short - the price of the room is in no way justified.

La Costa is exactly as described - the landlady is extremely helpful and gave us a map and directions when we first arrived. Parking is a bit tight - essentially, you are likely to find yourself on a steep hill, right up against the bushes. There is NO AC and the two rooms are in the top of the house - so hot and stuffy - but a fan is provided. Also, the breakfast is pretty meagre - roll and jam or croissant and jam with coffee and orange juice. That said, the whole place is much more personal than some of the hotels and it is well situated for the town.

Stradina d'accesso molto impervia. Non c'è il bagno in camera, ma va condiviso tra gli ospiti delle 2 sole camere disponibili. Prezzo sproporzionato. Camere calde (sottotetto). Non accetta carta di credito nè assegni. Comunque bello e pulito.

The bed and breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed it so much and wished that we could stay longer. Christina was a lovely hostess and made us feel welcome. We would love to visit again. I would highly recommend it.

Although the room itself was nice and the hostess(who speaks no English)welcoming, finding La Costa by car was a nightmare and involved driving right through the centre of town where directional signs seemed to disappear. I'm still surprised we found it at all. Then once you get there, the driveway is precipitous, the parking minimal, and there is a steep walk up to the door. Restaurants are some distance away through an uninteresting part of town. As the shower is one of those that has no stall and water gets all over the floor, we would not have enjoyed sharing this bathroom with others. (Fortunately, we were the only ones staying there.) The breakfast was perhaps the worst we had in Italy, with only packaged bits and pieces. We would not recommend this B&B to others.

The Hostess at La Costa was lovely, made us so much at home. Also enjoyed the extra information on the Battle of Cassino which was available for us. Will be back in the future.

La Costa is a lovely quiet bed & breakfast within 5 minutes walk from the centre of Cassino - we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go there again. Lovely airy bedroom and plenty of information about the history of Cassino.

Very nice structure, not very easy to reach. The proprietors are very kind, helpful and competent in historical matters concerning the area (they even keep a rich videotape collection on Cassino battle and related historical issues). A shift from the classical continental breakfast would be appreciated.

We did find it difficult to find - luckily we asked a fruit seller who directed us and once on the right road it was signed. Rooms were very big and spacious and the bathroom was beautifully clean. Electric fans were in the rooms and were very welcome as it was hot. Our Italian was quite poor so communication was a little tricky.... The accomodation is situated up a very steep hill with several steps and parking was on the road at the bottom of the hill which was a little worrying. We walked into Cassino which was about 800m. Breakfast was a choice of drinks with a croissant and various biscuits. We had a very comfortable stay here.

The rooms & view & friendly service were great, and the embellishments/antiques in the place, noteworthy!! Its historic importance was surprising, and am glad to have stumbled on it. It was a little hard to find, but the good map provided over the internet was invaluable. A nice place to stop enroute to your next stop.

We found it a clean, nice, spacious place to stay at a reasonable price especially for one family as there is only one bath. The hosts were terriffic. Location was a little difficult to find but there are adequate signs once you reach the town.
