Bed and Breakfast La Peonia - Cagliari

This is the most wonderful B&B with a great host & hostess. Antonello's English is perfect and he is most welcoming and helpful. He helped me with trains and busses, suggestions of where to go and where to eat both of which were a success. As a first time visitor I got an orientation tour of the town and deposited in the town center to look around. Cagliari is a great place, friendly helpful people every where and especially the tourist information ladies. The house is about 20 minutes by bus (M?) out of town but there is a really good pizza place down the road and if you wait/wonder around in town people watching before dinner (about 2000hrs) you can still get a bus back at a reasonable time and it's cheap. The house itself is immaculately clean, beautifully, tastefully and sympathetically renovated, lovely bathroom, decorations, furniture, comfortable beds, prints on the walls etc. My room even had a little terrace. It was at the back and quiet. I'll be going back and Peonia is top of my list.

Antonella and Vanna are wonderful hosts, very kind and thoughtful.We took Antonello's excellent advice about trips to do and restaurants to eat in and had a very enjoyable holiday in Cagliari. I would recommend La Peonia to anyone who would like a 'real' experience of Cagliari.

Awesome B&B!! The services and facilities offered were outstanding. Moreover, the owner of the B&B take us to a trip arround Cagliari very interesting. The rooms were great, very clean, with TV, fridge and a full bathroom (entirely new). I would strongly recommend this B&B!!!

The proprietors went out of their way to welcome us and give us a very pleasant stay in their establishment. La Peonia is excellently situated for visiting the many historical locations in Cagliari.

Could not fault the welcome and help provided by Anton & Vana. La Peonia is ideally situated just out of the city. The bus stop (M for city and QS for Poetto beach) stop right outside. Small supermarket & ATM within 2 minute walk at Piazza Italia. Cagliari ideal for a short break but avoid August if possible as it is too hot. Visit Villasmius for a day out at some great beaches and a boat trip. All restarants tried were good especially the sea food.

The hospitality of Antonello and Vanna overpasses largely the excellent and very well taken care place. The rooms are nice, furnished with real antiques and decorated with good taste. The place is not really centric but there's a bus stop oppsite the entrance door (no joke it's right there) which will take you to the center in 20-30 minutes. But most important as said in the begginig is the caring personality of both Antonello and Vanna, which at all times have been ready for help more than what professionality requires. Thank you again.
