Antica Casa le Rondini is a 500-years-old stone house made into a smalll B&B. The house was completely restaured in 2000. It is located in Colle di Buggiano, a tiny medieval village in the midst of the hills covered with olive groves. The excellent location between Florence and lucca, 5 minutes away from Montecatini Terme allows you to easily visit all the main Tuscan art cities, the fine sand beaches of Viareggio or spend a day at the Spas in the area.

Guests can relax in a comfortable living room on the ground floor or in the lovely secret walled garden where chairs, tables and dekking chairs are at guests disposal.
There is also served the full continental breakfast. A kitchen corner is at the guest's disposal in the small garden house.
Well behaved animals are welcome.
The village, a car-free zone, is balm to the city-stressed soul and its unspoiled antique athmosphere makes this place special..

Florence and Lucca are well connected by train and buses. The nearest station is Montecatini Terme, 3 miles away.

By car
Antica casa "le rondini" is located in the medieval village of Colle di Buggiano.
Take A11 Firenze - Pisa nord and exit in Montecatini Terme.


Turn immediately right and then left and follow signs to Pescia and Lucca. At the first crossing, drive straight out on the cypresses boarded avenue. Pass through the three roundabouts until you find a traffic light. At this 1th. light turn left, always following directions for Lucca. Drive straight out at the 2th. and keep going (about 1 km.) until the Tamoil gasoline station appears on your left. After 50 meters, turn right following the sign Colle.
Drive up hill. At the first little crossing, turn right in direction Colle. After few meters, you will find a parking place right outside our village because it is a car free zone. Once there, you can call me at (0039) 0572 33313 and I'll come and fetch you.

Take the train to Montecatini Terme and from there take a taxi.

The nearest aeroports are Galileo Galilei airport in Pisa or the Amerigo Vespucci airport in Florence.
