Bed and Breakfast Noster Bayres - Buenos Aires

Noster Bayres was well situated. Hotel was safe and the staff were honest and helpful. The building itself - you get what you pay for - we only wanted somewhere safe to leave our things and to sleep at night that was conveniently close to the main attractions of the City. Rooms were big and water hot. Unlike Chile, they did not try and bill us an extra day for arriving early in the morning.

Our family of five stayed at Noster Bayres on two occasions. We found the staff and surroundings warm and friendly. They went out of their way to make us welcome and to organise the things we wanted to do. The beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms original. Muchas gracias to you Federico, Laura and Marcelo. Cleanliness of room was very good.The location was not in the center but no problem,as you can take Bus 29 or Bus 22 to get (almost) anywhere :)) Just breakfast was poor..If you care breakfast,it is better to have in another place..

This is my first visit to BA and hopefully it won't be my last one. Since BA was the ending point of a 14-day South American cruise which was in celebration of my 50th birthday, the four days in BA was enhanced by our 3-night stay at this B&B/Hostel. Well situated to the areas of interest (Plaza Dorrego - San Telmo Fair on Sunday and La Boca District) and with easy access to the public transportation with the many buses and walking distance to the Subway station (La Constitution), my travel companion and I were able to visit the other major points of interest such as Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Calle Florida, LaRecolta district (including the Cemetery where Evita Peron resides). Muchos Gracias to Marcelo and his colleagues at the NOSTER BAYRES for all their assistance in making our stay in Buenos Aires such a special one! Also we discovered a wonderful restaurant just around the corner from our B&B called DEL ESTABLO (on Defensa 1463) where we feasted all four nights on the delicious Argentinean Beef which I must admit was even better than the Alberta Beef back home in Canada! Besides being "very inexpensive" relative to what the same meal would cost us for the high quality of beef steaks found in the best restaurants in Montreal, we received the most attentive service from our waiter and now amigo, EDUARDO. Be sure to pay a visit to this fine eating establishment and be sure to ask for him as your waiter. You be treated like royalty (I guarantee it)!

I booked two rooms for 8 people and one baby. The rooms were uniquely decorated and spaces providing a fun atmosphere. We did find that the single beds were very good quality but the full size beds were only so so fine for one person but if two people were sharing them you tend to roll into the center of the bed. The staff was very helpful with every thing advice on restaurants, location of place in the city and best way to get there. One suggestion if you prefer a room that is quite you should ask for a room in the back side of the hotel. For me the sounds from the street under my window were not overly intrusive. I highly recommend this hotel for it facilities and the area that it is located in. Shopping, food, and sight seeing are all with in walking distance. Every one in our group was please with the hotel and price. The staff we out of their way to help us.

Although Bed & Breakfast Noster Bayres had only been open for about six months, we were surprised at the level of service we received. The staff was extremely helpful and super nice, the rooms were clean, and there was easy access to internet in the lobby with nice coffee and rolls each morning. Since BA is a late night city, it was nice to have a place where they were there all night to let you into the lobby, change money, or answer any questions. We spent ten days exploring the city, and although we originally planned to move to different neighborhoods in the city... we enjoyed the Noster Bayres and the San Telmo neighborhood so much, that we remained here. (The city is super easy to get around.) They even kept our bags while we went to Igauzu Falls and Paraguay. --We were there in June, ("winter") so I am not sure about how hot the rooms may be in summer, and I think any place in BA you will hear traffic if the windows are open. (I used ear plugs at first, but got used to it.) Hope you enjoy this cute and friendly B&B.

Nos hospedamos mi esposa y yo por 5 días, los servicios son todo lo que uno pudiera pedir a un B&B y mucho mas, el ambiente acogedor, muy limpio y la amabilidad de sus hospederos hicieron de nuestro viaje una experiencia magnifica. Les recomiendo que atiendan las sugerencias del hotel para trasladarse en la ciudad y tours, la ubicación es excelente, todos los centros importantes pueden llegarse caminando, por metro y camión (colectivos). Los cuartos son por lo menos austeros, pero preferible cuando viajas de mochila. Muy recomendado para parejas, jóvenes, grupos pequeños y seniors.

My experience in noster bayres was very good. the neighborhood was beautiful and the location excellent. the heart of san telmo was just a couple of blocks away and a bus "colectivo" was always available and close to the b&b. the staff was very godo to me, even sending me an email after i had checked out regarding a random question i asked one of the guys. on my last day there, i was having breakfast and a friend showed up, and another staff member served her coffee as well. noster bayres is definitely a place where they'll go the after mile to help you out. on the other hand, i was disappointed with the wifi service in the hotel. i've been away from home for months now, so internet service is an absolute must. although the wifi service was great in the lobby, it rarely worked well in my room. anyways, for those of you traveling without a computer, there is one available for free in the lobby. the bed was not the best in town, but i slept like a baby anyways, specially since the room (and the b&b in general) was always warm! the water was hot, which is another plus now in the winter. i hadn't noticed anything about the quietness of the rooms, only during my last morning there. i'll just say it was a funny situation ... :P i had a great experience at noster bayres and would recommend it to anyone going to Buenos Aires.
