The room on Donau has an amazing view. Just know that you are in Buda, and visit more in Pest, when you are in Budapest : don't choose this pension if you want to come to your room several times during day

I think my only complaint was the lack of breakfast. This was in no fault due to the Budavar - but to the 4 guests also staying in the Budavar, who consumed more than their share of milk, tea and other goods.

Basic pension but very friendly, arranged taxi from airport and welcomed us on arrival. Breakfast was fine. No lift but they did offer to move us from the top floor next day.

The Budavar Pension is in a great location. The room was clean and quiet. Viktor was a great host and breakfast was very nice. Would stay again.

The budavar pension was a pleasant surprize. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the important sites,on both the Buda and Pest side. The manager,Victor, was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We would recommend this pension to all our friends. Great location, good value.
