't Walleke was in a lovely quiet area of Brugge. Hosts were very attentive and couldn't do more for you. The use of the kitchen and common area on the top floor was much appreciated. The room was pleasant, with comfortable (if creaky) beds.

Wonderful place to stay! The house was an amazing contrast to the historical city, but still fit well into the neighborhood. Our hostess was incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive. We will be recommending to all of our friends and relatives!

't Walleke' bed and breakfast /'guest house' was one of the best I have stayed at. The owner was most accommodating. Nothing was too much for her. It an absolute delight to be asked, and not have to ask, questions regarding what I was intending to do, where I was intending to go, etc. because verbal and sometimes hard copy information was forthcoming. I would thoroughly recommend ‘t Walleke’ to everyone who is thinking of staying at Brugge. It is within 15 minutes walking distance from the centre of the city and is situated in one of the historic streets of the city. The only negative thing was that in my room the toilet was outside the room. The rest of the bathroom was inside the room.

Bed and breakfast t Walleke is a fabulous modern building, very well designed, and built to a very high quality (I am a builder and was very very impressed!) Although the building is very modern and spacious, it is also homely and welcoming, with a very comfortable bed! Breakfast is great, with plenty to eat, hotel drinks are very cheap, and most important, and best of all, the family are very friendly and kind - a real haven, to recover from working hard, and would be well worth double the money! a real treat!!!

T Walleke was all that the web page mentioned and MORE!We had a most comfortable stay.Therese is the perfect host, making us feel at home, providing us with much information about local sights, gastronomical delights and where and how to locate them, insider notes on shopping areas. The breakfast spread was fit for royalty! We will be recommending this B&B to all our friends here in Kolkata(India).tWalleke is ideal for those who want to enjoy a quiet stay in a peaceful neighbourhood-just beyond the madding crowds, yet within walking distance of the heart of Bruges. To top it all, there is always Therese'warm hospitality.

Cannot recommend this B&B highly enough! Terese was a fantastic host. She was kind and welcoming, provided us with a (great) suggested walking tour, and was up early to prepare a breakfast of fantastic variety! They also showed us where to park the car (on the next road) and provided us with a Blue Disc so the parking would be free. They even went to the car to extend the free parking time on our behalf. In a quiet area about ten minutes' walk from the main square and attractions. Very architecturally-different building with nice breakfast room and roof terrace. Only downside was a lack of a door on our en-suite bathroom. There was just a curtain between the bedroom and the toilet. Had it not been for this, then my "8" rating for cleanliness of rooms would be a "10" too!

What a pleasant surprise! B&B Walleke is a beautifully designed modern house in between all of the old. It's a nice contrast that works. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the breakfasts are really good! Walkable from the train station. Everything else is within an easy walk. Don't miss the old functioning windmill that you can climb up into at the end of the street. The owner, Terese, is just so warm and helpful. We felt like we were staying with family. This made our visit to Bruges even better. Can't wait to visit again sometime. I would recommend this for young and old alike, romantic getaway or family vacation. We had our three teenage boys with us and they thought the place was awesome (it takes a lot to impress teens).

Therese was a fantastic hostess and provided us with many great suggestions for touring and eating in town. We had no car and got there easily by bus and a short walk from the train. This accommodation was excellent for a couple and very quiet, clean and spacious. Easy walk to town but nestled in the beautiful neighborhood of Brugge so you got a great feel and sense of the place. The house is very modern and an interesting contrast to the old houses surrounding it. Great common room to sit on the deck, drink a beer (kept in the fridge pay as you go) and look out over the lovely rooftops of Brugge. Definitely GO!

I went to Bruges with my wife and sister in law and stayed at T Walleke guesthouse just for the weekend. We were received by Theresa. What a wonderful woman!! She just made our trip amazing as she showed as how to get to places, what route to do and many things. She also asked us what we wanted to have for breakfast and what was our preferences for it. The room was good enough in size and very comfortable, clean and modern. T Walleke is within 10 minutes to the center of Bruges and easy to reach from it. I would absolutely recommend T Walleke to anybody going to Bruges for price, quality and service.

The location was perfect for us - outside the central part of town but an easy 10 minute walk. Our hostess was easily the best we've ever encountered - she took care of every need we expressed and served a delightful, nourishing breakfast. I would highly highly recommend t Walleke!

I'd recommend this B+B. Hostess was charming and helpful. Whole place was very clean and well-appointed. Availability of nice kitchen and TV was greatly appreciated. We'd highly recommend the generous fish salad available from shop at fish market - takeaway for 5 euros.

This was the best B&B at which we have ever stayed. The quality of the rooms and breakfasts was excellent, but the best part was the unmatched hospitality shown us by our hostess Trees. The common area and terrace were great. We would highly recommend 't Walleke to others travelling to Brugge.

The B&B is great, the owners very welcoming and accommodating, and the property itself is very new, modern, clean, and located very well. One thing we didn't like was the lack of door on the bathroom (certain noises and smells are better confined to the bathroom!) It would be great if the proprietors added wireless internet (they have a plug-in ethernet connection that does not automatically configure your laptop). On the whole, it was a very pleasant stay.

Except for the size of the bathroom (very small) and the absence of a door to isolate it from the room, the rest is excellent and the lady that owns it is very kind and helpfull. Highly recommended

I travelled with my mother and a friend and we really enjoyed Brugges, thanks to this B&B that is highly recommended. Brugge is a really charming city, the most charming place that we visited. And Walleke is one of the top 3 place that we stayed, everything was good: the surrounding, the rooms, the facilities and the breakfast was the BEST! The staff was very kind and we really want to return again.

We stayed here for a fabulous night in August 2007 and have only just realised we forgot to leave a review! This B&B is just like staying in your very own designer boutique hotel. The building is simply stunning, the architectural design is ultra-modern yet very comfortable. THIS IS THE MOST SUPERB NIGHT IN A HOTEL OR B&B WE HAVE HAD ANYWHERE!!! The patron was utterly charming and she doted on our 3 children. The rooms and facilities were lovely, the breakfast was super and her attentive service was incomparable. We enjoyed her suggested walking route tour of the city, and she gave great advice about the best chocolates, the cheapest parking and bus travel. We would not hesitate to recommend this B&B, and would love to return soon.
