Andre's was absolutely fantastic. He was very welcoming, and he picked us up from the train station. The room was normal and clean, but nothing special. Still, it was a great experience staying in their home. Breakfast was very, very good, and the price of the place is great. Andre also got us discounted bus tickets into Bruges, and honestly, it takes no time at all on the bus, bike or on foot. I highly recommend staying here.

OK except a bed in a very small room and a bathroom common for 3 rooms (5 people at the time we were there).

Andre is a wonderful host, helpful, charming and informative. He provides a generous breakfast and hot drinks are available to help yourself at any time. Access to the centre is easy and the house itself is easy to find. The shared bathroom is a drawback, fine when you're sharing with friends ,less good when the house is full. Excellent value for money.

Andre was the ultimate host. The B&B is out of Brugge but with Andre's guidance with bus schedule it worked great! Best food and service in all of Brugge was at Tijl Cafe right near the B&B.

We were welcommed very kindly and felt us immediatly at home. We had good conversations with the host and his other guests. A very good B&B atmosphere. Only the beds are somewhat hard to sleep on.

Andre's provided excellent value and the transport to/from the railway was much appreciated, as was the use of a bicycle for a 40 km exploration of the surrounding countryside. Only one adverse comment - time of breakfast varied and was not relayed to me on the second day.

Andre was a wonderful host, provided a great deal of information on Brugge including maps, discount bus tickets, how to get the bus to town, bike hire etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were quiet and comfortable, would definitely stay again.

We wanted to spend a long weekend in Brugge, renting a bike to go around. We were lucky to find Andre's B&B on the web, who offers everything we wanted. Affordable price, good breakfast, have good bikes, convenient location and most of all hospitality. We think that we might return soon to explore more of the surroundings. Barbara&Ivo from Slovenia

We found that Andre was extremely knowledgeable and helpful about the area. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh produce all round. There were also facilities for making hot drinks in the evening. It was enjoyable meeting people from several countries and a wide range of ages at Andre's.

What a welcoming host! The B & B is about 2 miles from the city center, but the residential area is BEAUTIFUL! Andre was full of information and extremely helpful and good humored. I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in Brugges.

We loved this B and B. Andre is a very nice and friendly man. He picked us up at the train station, was fluent in English, annswered all our questions, and even went out of his way to help us retrieve a lost bag on the train. The shared bath was no problem (he also has an extra half bathroom downstairs. The place is clean and modern, all newly renovated. I even liked that it is outside of Brugge because we got a feel for the local surroundings, not just all the tourist traps. We also got good excersize riding Anrdre's rented bikes into and around town. For 50 euros a night, this place is a steal.

We had a lovely stay at Andre's! He and his wife were very friendly and welcoming and we had a wonderful breakfast! They even had a cot and toys for our one-year old! Highly recommended! Great location if you do not want to live in the old town of Brugge!

The B&B was under construction during our stay. It is OK as is but will be much nicer when construction is completed. Breakfast was very nice and Andre and his wife were very helpful and friendly. The pick up and drop off at the train station were very helpful.

We loved this B&B! We initially picked it because of the shared first name. Andre promptly responded and told us to call as he would pick us up at the train station. Even though there was a bus nearby, he both picked us up and took us back at the end of our stay. He provided tourist information and even reduced bus tickets. But the best was the interaction we had with him and his wife (as well as the other two couples) at night. Both speak several languages (we needed english). They were so friendly. His wife even gave us some jam to take with us after we raved over the great breakfasts. This is not the Ritz but it was a great way to see a typical Belgium house, and interact with some delightful hosts. The 3 B&B rooms were upstairs. We had a sink in the room and shared a bathroom. Andre is currently adding onto the back so the langscaping is not finished. But by next spring, it should be looking good outside as well. We will come back, for we feel we have made a connection, and will tell our friends that Andre's is the place to go.

We came pretty late in night to Brugge but Andre was waiting for us. He was very kind and gave us a lot of info about Brugge (maps, tips for parking and so on). Very nice and quiet place, not so far from city centre.
