Bed and Breakfast La Terrazza - Brescia

Very large room and bath. Since the B&B is near the train station some street noise was expected but it quiets down surprisingly quickly after dark. Breakfast is very basic but adequate. There is a decent market at the north end of Foppa. To register and get the key you have to go to the hotel Cristallo up the street from the station on the left.

This is a very clean, efficient, and well-run B&B which, though it looks basic from the street, is really very nice inside. The location is PERFECT being directly across the street from the train station. I cannot commend enough the staff/family which runs this B&B, and their nearby hotel. My luggage was lost for three days by the airline, and they literally worked the phone and internet all day, while I toured Brescia, to locate it, and make sure it came from the Milan airport to the correct hotel. That is going "above and beyond the call of duty." I highly recommend them. There are a lot of illegal immigrants who hang around the train station nearby at night, who make quite a bit of noise, but they are harmless, and the convenience of the location more than made up for the noise.

Arrived 19o,clock. Nobody opened the door. With lots of luck I got information to check at Hotel Cristallo not too far. (The owner was in the hospital)
