Had two sleepless nights due to noise and smoking on the street. the posada itself is not bad. pretty comfortable, has free wi-fe, and you can hear EVERYTHING inside and outside the posada if you have a room on the street side.

Magic place, very romantic, super service in a very characteric street

We arrived late in the night and when we entered it was a surprise for the atmosphere . This place really is something magic and we had one of the most exciting nights. I really recommend this place for romantic couple. Showers are very big and comfortable . Alto voltaje¡¡

Great place to stay! Located in the charming Candelaria area of town. There is a great bike tour run by an American (Mike) just around the corner on Carrer 3 / Calle 13.

Neat place. Don't be put off by the dodgy-looking street, Candelaria is fascinating and feels more secure than in years past. Each room in the B&B is unique. Try to get a room on the street- those 'inside' feel less private and get more noise from other patrons climbing the stairs. The rooms are large, hip, clean and bright (when the lights are on). Beware the (standard in Colombia) electric shower heads. The upper-floor rooms looked wonderful, especially the 'penthouse'. However the ground-floor room looks out directly on the commons area, and would not be a good option. Would be a great place for groups of friends to stay, or couples looking for a social environment several notches above the typical traveler hostel, yet far cheaper than decent hotels in the area. The owner Massimo is welcoming and friendly, and demonstrates the best of both Italian (by birth) and Colombian (by choice) hospitality.

The best deal here is the top floor, which has an incredible view of the city, a kitchen, and a loft above another room. It's perfect for a group of travelers and its location is close to the center. Since the walls are a bit thin, it can be a bit noisy but it was not a problem for me. Last thing, although the neighborhood looks a bit rough, it is quite the opposite and is full of night life. It's a great place and we'll definitely return.

Massimo and his lovely colleagues were all extremely welcoming and keen to ensure that guests had a good time in Bogota. It was like staying with friends - very relaxed and flexible. Noise in an issue and having read comments about this general problem in Bogota hotels, I took ear plugs ensuring that I was prepared and slept well. Voila. No one should visit Bogota without some! (Alternatively, I suppose you should just dive into Bogota life and go and join in the partying). Will stay here again when I revisit Bogota. On the negative side, the spiral staircase may be a quite a challenge for some guests.
