Bed and Breakfast Central Hostel BG - Bergamo

Great place to stay. Free internet and free overseas telephone calls (limit 10 minutes). Close to centre of Bergamo and railway station.

-I didn`t have any breakfast -so can not say anything about it -room was very clean,simple but nice -just perfekt for one night stay

This place has a hostel and a hotel on the same building. I was at the hotel, on the last floor and was really quiet despite the doors doesnt't offer good sound isolation (if there's a party outside your room you'll listen). The heating on the room (autonomous) wasn't the best. Anyway I'm planning to coming back to Bergamo and I've already booked this place because they offer a really good value for money in a very expensive city as Bergamo.

The room was unbelievably cold.

We were very sceptical about this accommodation due to the title, "hostel" only springs up images of scruffy teens but this hostel was far from that. Although it could do with a facelift in terms of decor, the rooms were clean, spacious and pleasing to the eye. The receptionist asked me if I spoke Italian and although I replied "un po"....we continued the check-in in Italian although she spoke excellent English. I was very happy with this as there was a cheekiness about her initial question and the whole reason for me travelling is to try the language! Breakfast was what you'd expect in Europe, bread, jams, coffee, juice, croissants....plenty of it! Overall a great cheap ho(s)tel....highly recommended!

Good location.Spaciousness of rooms. The breakfast is poor.

We had an overall very nice stay at the hotel and in Bergamo. The hotel was situated central and nearby to everything. We recommend you a stay there.

Just had a one-night stay in the hostel and for that it was perfect. Good location, cheap and clean. I will stay there again when I'll go for a weekend to see the town of Bergamo.

Had a really nice stay here. My room was nicer than many hotels--very spacious with en-suite bathroom. Although it's a hostel, it's very well run and is just as accommodating to mature travellers (I'm 37 and I didn't feel out of place). Be warned that the map on venere.com has the location wrong; on the map, the hostel is located to the east of Viale Roma/Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII (the main north/south street from the train station), but Via Ghislanzoni is actually located to the WEST of this street--so turn LEFT, not right, off Viale Papa Gio.

Excellent position in the centre of Citta Bassa. Good value for money. Nice single room with wooden ceiling, the walls maybe too thin, but withe the ammenities of a 3 star hotel.
