Excellent little b&b. Cristina, the owner/host, is delightful: knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, fluent in English and patient with those of us who struggle with Italian. The location could not be better. A five minute walk to Piazza Vecchio; less to a bus stop and the funicular to Castello San Viglio. Best of all, the b&b is on a small side street and, therefore, has very little road noise. This is a two room b&b, so it is small, with a commons area in the middle between the two bedroom wings. There is some noise, as a result. Also, the private bathroom for our room was down a short hallway. The bedroom itself was quite large and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the hills overlooking Cita Alta. The bathroom was also fairly large and very functional. Very good breakfast, with fruit, yogurts, juice, wonderful variety of breads and rolls, cereals, coffee, etc. Would certainly stay there again if we are ever fortunate enough to return to Bergamo.

We stayed one day at A Casa Mia: we loved the view on a sunny afternoon from the balcony on the surrounding hills. The area is very quiet and charmful, and Cristina is a great and smiling hostess !

We stayed in this Bed and Breakfast on our way through Bergamo. The room was really spacious and clean with an outstanding view from the balcony. The breakfast was great a selection of cheese, cold cuts, fresh fruit, muesli and fruit juice all beautifully presented. The owner Christina is extremely welcoming and helpful she pointed out the main sights and good places to eat. The location in the old town is ideal and very easy to get to from the airport (a single bus ride for €1.20).The rooms would not be totally quiet as church bells ring very frequently in bergamo. We would definitely stay here again.

My mum and I travelled to Bergamo to try and arrange my wedding venue and church in 2 days! Cristina is an amazing host and nothing is too much bother for her. It felt like a real home from home. With her help, guidance, tips and support, we managed to book a wonderful church near the old town and have decided on a wedding venue too. The B&B is so central, 5 mins walk to the old medieval centre and very near the funicular or the bus stop that takes you to San Vigilio, the upper part of Bergamo alta or indeed the bus to the station in downtown Bergamo or the airport (Orio Al Serio). Bergamo is a stunning town and the trip was made even easier by the wonderful B&B and Cristina, who is like a private guide to the area, We took advantage of the 15 euro pick up from Orio Al Serio and on the way back, we took the bus. The breakfast had a real variety of food from boiled eggs, mixed meats, cheeses, sweet bread, panettone, toast, conserves, cereal....we never felt hungry! As other reviews have said, we had the private bathroom at the end of the small corridor and this suited us fine. The views from the balcony are stunning! We will definitely be back!

For a reasonable fee we were picked up at the airport by the owners husband. The room was rather simple, but spacious, clean and with a comfortable double bed; it all had a charming and personal touch. We shared bathroom, which was unproblematic and located just outside our door. Our room had a shared balcony with french doors and a great view over the hillside and the plains towards Milan. From the balcony you could se the sun go down behind the hills. It has a quiet location with no disturbing traffic, yet within easy walking distance to both the old and new city. The owner Christina took good care of us and was very available and service-minded from the first to the last moment. The breakfast was special and satisfying with a good variation.
