AroomS - Bed & Breakfast - Bergamo

High price for a regular room with shared bathroom. Taxes should be included in the price. No receipt was issued for us, the customers. Location is not too bad, not far from the low historic town not from the train station.

The hotel is situated just outside the center of Bergamo, around 20 mins walking from the central station. We stayed here because we had an early flight from Bergamo airport and were looking for a simple hotel to stay for 1 night. That is exactly what this hotel is: it is simple but it has everything we wished for. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and really clean, they provided good towels and it was quiet. There is no service during your stay, you can use the kitchen if you wish to. We made an appointment for arrival and the owner was there at the right time. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

I definitely unrecommend this property. First the welcoming is very weird, there is no reception. Then we are forced to pass through the kitchen to go to the bathroom, so uncomfortable... Finally, during the night, it was impossible to sleep because of the noise of the other hosts in the public spaces and the noise of the road; in fact, the heating system being impossible to adjust in the room, we were forced to open the window all the night.

Arooms is a very good choice. Room, kitchen and bathroom were clean. Services (breakfast, parking, atc.) ok. Good connection to city centre, or station with bus. The only problem was traffic noise. I would suggest this B&B to anyone.

Lorenzo was an excellent host. He understands English and helped me acquaint myself with Bergamo very well. AroomS is well within walking distance to doentown Bergamo and a bus and funicolare ride away from Citta Alta.

Place was perfect located and rooms where clean and with nice beds. But extremly warm without aircon. Windows had to be kept closed due to extreme noice from traffic and barking dogs.

Spacious, clean, modern, well decorated, friendly, handy for the airport. Shared bathroom and kitchen which worked well for us because we were travelling as a group of two small families. Breakfast provided was very limited but there were excellent facilities if you were wanting to self cater, which is what made me feel it would work well for a slightly longer stay. We just used it as an overnight stay at the start of our holiday after arriving at Bergamo airport. Only downsides would be it was rather noisy at night and they wanted payment in cash rather than by credit card. Overall excellent value for money.

Nice place and in a very good location.

We just had a perfect stay. Rooms are extremely big for european standards, with lots of attentions to details (frames, lights, etc.) Possibility of parking. I would suggest this B&B to anyone.
