We, Enrica, Lela and Lucy will be very glad to welcome you and pamper you in every possible way: that is our goal, giving you a personally tailored approach to the site so that you can feel like a local, a Bergamasco. Giving you personal suggestions is what we really like.
Relaxing, strolling around, discovering plenty of hidden secret areas, centuries away from the bustling city is a charming way to spend time in Bergamo. Breath and be absorbed by the Italian way of life, sipping a cappuccino on one of the terraces on Piazza Vecchia, taking a romantic walk towards the breathtaking San Vigilio vista point, or just enjoy the slow pace life of this part of town.
Our no smoking rooms are located in an old and completely renovated building, in a peaceful and relaxed location in the centre of the historical part of town, in one of the most exclusive and charming lanes in town.
Simplicity and tastefulness are characteristic of the interior design, which perfectly suits the rich in history walls and vaults.
In the summer our sweet and savoury breakfast is served outdoor, in the small garden. This can be a quiet and exclusive refuge for many of our guests, seeking for privacy even in the centre of town.

I love travelling across Italy stopping in lots of places. Bergamo’s «citta alta» is one of the most beautiful ones. «Al vicolo» is the best accommodation you can find - a quiet place in the very heart of the «citta alta», easy access guaranteed. A cosy courtyard with birds singing in the morning, spacious elegant sitting-room with a TV set, a sofa, a coffee table and a large breakfast table for eight persons on the ground floor, a fridge and a kettle, tea/coffe making facilities . Three small bedrooms and two exterior bathrooms (a smaller ‘privata’ and a larger ‘shared’ one)on the first floor. Might not suit everybody, but me and my husband liked it a lot, and the breakfasts were very good. I would gladly spend the whole summer there.

BEWARE, WE BOOKED TO STAY AT AL VICOLO, BUT ON ARRIVAL WE WERE DIRECTED TO ANOTHER B and B, OK AT FIRST, BUT PLEASE NOTE,,,, SHARED BATHROOM IS NOT AS IT SEEMS, SHARED ACCOMODATION INCLUDING THE TOILET AND BATHROOM IS MORE PRECISE, NOT FROM MY POINT OF VIEW TO BE RECOMMENDED. OLD TOWN VERY PLEASANT.

Very nice with pickup at airport, we were 5 hours lat and arrived at 0100 and still service was perfect.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY
After the booking confirmation,the guest will be contacted by the B&B for a pre-payment. The requested amount will be for 20% of the total cost. In case of no show or cancellation after the time limit, we'll charge the 20% of the total stay. We only accept payments in cash (euro).
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 2 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
