Very friendly and helpful staff. Laughed a lot! Especially enjoyed time spent at breakfast... All sit together at table. Great way to practice Italian (and Spanish!) Great location. On the edge of both the old and new town. I was able to walk everywhere. Very clean B&B with nice welcoming touches. The room was a little noisy with occassional church bells and traffic, but worth it!

No indication until leaving that cash only accepted for payment. Inconsistent quality of rooms, including ours which was very small. No storage space, no bedside furniture or lights, TV not connected no service available when plugged in, worn, thin towels, had to ask for toilet rolls, dirty net curtains. No staff on site. Wrong address sent to us, causing confusion when arrived at Bergamo. Residence (and our room) located on a busy corner, used as a 'rat run' by local traffic. The definition of 24 hours reception is tenuous when you have to make a telephone call to get access to the property on arrival. The owner brought people to the rooms during the night causing a great deal of noise and disturbance. If the rooms were soundproofed (as per the description on Venere web) the doors were not - ours barely fitted and light flooded in around it. This was the worst place we have stayed in on holiday in Italy. We deserve a refund. How's about it Venere?
