B&B My Room - Bergamo

We arrived late at night; Guido picked us at the airport as it had been agreed. All the arrangements were excellent, rooms are very clean and comfortable! Than you very much for the accomodation, it is highly recommended!

We like it very much, price quite big, but it worth. I would like to come back, especially I liked the kitchen, there was all benefits.

This B&B is a good place to spend a night in general. The owner is very welcoming and helpful by telling about the places of interest, restaurants etc. Breakfast was basic but good. There was free wifi, which we liked very much. Free pick up from the airport was included. The largest disadvantage - no private bathrooms, everything else was OK. The price was a bit steep for this type of accommodation looking in general, but similar to other prices in Bergamo.

Highly recommended! Central location, close to the train station and easy reach to Bergamo Old Town (Citta Alta) by public transport or by walk. Guido - the owner is very helpful, he offers free pick up from the airport (10 min. by car), advises places to see and eat. Rooms are simple furnished but sufficiently and clean, as well as shared bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen is free for all guests. In the morning you get Italian breakfast (coffee, juice, milk, cereal, croissant, jam, joghurt...)There is also common room with TV, table and chairs, laptop with Internet connection and covered terrace. I spent one night in B&B My Room during a transfer from Budapest to Valencia. The location is very good and quiet. Rooms are simple but very clean as well as the shared batgrooms and the kitchen. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is an excelent vine restaurant at the corner with good prices. Good place for budget travellers.

Very convenient location - the center of the old town within walking distance. Inside, everything is organized very convenient. It was a little difficult to get to the hotel, since Guido was not there. The rest - an excellent value for money. I emphasize the availability of free Wi-Fi. Not every Italian hotel you will find it easy.

Great value for the money. I had difficulties calling the owner, who offers pickup from the airport, although was completely my fault, because of wrong country code dialing. Once that was sorted out it was great. Owner is very friendly and helpful. He came at 6am to give me a ride to the airport. The location is convenient, close to the train station and centre of lower Bergamo, easy transportation to the old town.

Nice room and facilities. Only downside was no air conditioning or even a fan. Was very hot and needed to have the window open which meant lots of road noise from outside. Guido, our host was very welcoming and gave great advise on things to see places to eat etc.

In one sentence: Gem of B&B in all our trip in Europe within the budget. Plan was to stay for the night for early morning flight. But this gorgeous place felt like home, with spacious rooms, gorgeous living room with LCD & leather sofa set, gorgeous balcony, and self serve 'very' well-equipped kitchen. We regretted not to have stayed longer - city is gorgeous, place was welcoming and romantic, less traffic/ congested unlike Milan!!! Contrary to other reviews, we found the church bells very melodious, and they ring only once around 7pm. Airport is only 8 minutes away by car/taxi, downtown Bergamo about 10 min. Downside, you have to call the owner to open the door and check in. But once you step in, you fell the coziness of the place. Wonder what the suite at 2nd floor would be like :))

Great stay! Very good personal service, even at 04:30 in the morning helping us to order a taxi, even he was not at work and did it from his home.Free pickup at the airport.10/10 for this B&B. Best regards RM & The family :-)

Guido was very helpful. The drawback with the location was the traffic noise. Also noise from patrons at the cafe on the ground floor.

Really nice place to stay. 10 minutes from Bergamo Central train station. Very nice and friendly owner.

Unfortunately,our flight was late and we had to telephone the proprietor to remind him to collect us.Our room was not in the B and B property, it was an apartment across the road. Extremely noisy place, due to traffic and a very hard bed!! You have to get your own breakfast, left on a tray, prepacked bread and biscuits and coffee from a machine (not easy). Everything basic but ok for an overnight stop.
