Room extremely small, warm and noisy. In august the fan is not enough. Bathroom outside and big problem with the “bath”. When arriving in front of the building no indication of the “room”. It should be a room for a one night in a city but even the price is expensive.

Basic accomodation without some of the luxuries of a hotel. But perfect for a cheap holiday. Awesome city centre location, and easy to get to from the train station by taxi. Right near a metro station, or if you enjoy walking, its not too far from the main square and la Rambles. Its called a 'Bed & Breakfast' but there is no food offered at the accomodation. Despite these things, it was perfect for our budget and I would definately recommend it.

GranVia is not a B&B - it´s just "one B" (stands for "bed") - the room is small but ok, with simple but charming decoration. The location is good only for being close to the metro, but it is extremely noise due to the combination Gran Via (a main artery in Barcelona)x no double glass. I was disappointed they offered no hints on the city (not even those free maps you always get at hostels). For 2/3 the price we paid here we moved the following day to a real hotel, as close to the metro as and next to Park Guel, with a very nice neighborhood and a jacuzzi! I believe you can get better deals booking elsewhere.

It's B&B without breakfast. You can easly reach every touristical area by metro. If you like walking, you can reach Eixample are or La Rambla in 15 min. Staff or frankly owner of the B&B so friendly and helpfull.

My partner and me were looking for a romantic, relatively cheap place to stay in Barcelona as close to the centre as possible. Granvia was the best place we could possibly find. For nearly the same price as we would pay for a private room in a hostel, we got a very nice, clean room, paid reasonable amount of money (as we are both students : ) ) and were warmly welcomed by the owner. Both of the owners were really friendly and helpful, providing us with information we required about places we wanted to see. As there are just 3 rooms, the place is very quiet and you can sleep off your hangover after a night in a party place like Barcelona certainly is. The ramblas are two tube stations away - 10 to 15 minutes by feet. All the other points are easily accessible by bus or tube (few meters from the bulding). We recommend the place very highly.

it seems to enter in a real barcelona apartment. even if it was on the main road of the room it wasn't much noisy. the stuff is nice and welcoming in summer could be hot because there is no air conditioned.

WI FI offered and employees no idea how to offer and never offered. It Was one of my deal. Not very clear direction were given on the site, how to reach the place. No hot water for the sink. Clean Bathroom, but... Very noise rooms, on Gran via road, obviously, that's personal opinion. Clean room. No table in the room. i will suggest to put at least an inexspensive mirror from ikea like all the forniture in the room, because shared bathroom.

really a nice place, especially if you don't like the "neutral" and anonimous hotel rooms similar one to each other everywhere in the world... this really feel like being in Barcelona

"Bed & Breakfast without breakfast" is a good description of the accomodations. We had a private room in an historic apartment building, complete with "Purple Panther" elevator. Our flight was delayed, and we arrived about 5 hours late. We had a little trouble connecting with "Alex," but after that everything was great. A little more information on "making connections" would have been useful.

I was very happily surprised that the accommodations here were as described or better. Great value, comfortable beds, and extremely handy for the Metro and food outlets.

Wi-fi is advertised but can not be used. A fridge and a TV could be usuful in the rooms even there is no kitchen and hall at all.Anyway good location, nice welcoming, good traffic and clean rooms are waiting for you. If you dont like noisy nights do not choose this one.

I wanted to rate this higher than I did. Our host was extremely nice but there were some issues that, had I known in advance, would've resulted in our staying elsewhere. I never received the email that our host sent after the initial booking was made. This turned out to be a critical oversight. Whether the email was kicked out as spam is not the issue but since it was the only attempt to contact us left me feeling that this was only a half hearted effort. Especially after I saw a copy of the email message, presented to me by our host. First, the property is listed on Venere as a B & B. There's no breakfast included nor offered; they don't accept credit cards (yet conf. states that if you fail to cancel within the guidelines, "your credit card will be charged") There's no A/C which isn't always bad-however, opening the window resulted in the constant, loud traffic noises from one of the busiest streets in Barcelona--all night. Restful sleep wasn't an option. The name of the inn isn't listed anywhere on the outside of the building (it's an upper floor of a corner building) We rang 8 doorbells without success in order to determine which one was correct. Had it not been for two men entering the building and letting us follow them, we could have been outside for hours. Once inside we were eventually met by our host who was cheerful & pleasant-but we couldn't get into the room as the prior guest had broken the lock and a new mechanism was being installed. After traveling for 20+ hrs with no sleep, it would've been nice to just crash for a bit. We don't mind the shared bath so that wasn't an issue. The bedroom was a decent size but the room was poorly lit, no tv & very noisy. Not good for a comfortable rest.Location was convenient to most things plus there is a subway stop right across the street & a few cafes right outside the building. Would recommend to budget travelers who sleep soundly or college kids looking for a bed & shower.

The hotel is in a great location. Right in Central Barcelona where all the Life and atmosphere of the city is best experienced. The Hotel was a little hard to find but once you find it its easily accesible. The guy who welcomed us was really inviting. The Room was nice and clean. Had shared bathroom and a seperate washroom, which were also very clean. the hotel felt more like an apartment. (however no kitchen). The best thing is you cant complain about the location. It is ten minutes walk from La Rambles. Buses to catch literally a walking distance, Taxis at the doorstep. Food and bars at the doorstep.. I would deffinately come back.

Great location, above a cafe and across the road from a few others and right across from an underground station. We were greeted with impeccable English and given helpful information on how to get around. The room was small but perfectly adequate and while I had some initial reservations about sharing a bathroom with the other two rooms it was never a problem and was very clean.

The room was very nice and clean. There was no bathroom in the room but the common one was also clean and quite nice. Outside there is an Internet cafe and a snack bar open from the early morning so there is no problem with the breakfast. The weak point is the noise from the outside. Anyway, I do recommend this hotel.

The hotel is on the 4th floor of the building (if you count the floors). Althought you have to press on the button with '2'. There is an elevator in de building ;) Gran Via is a busy street, but we have had good nights. De building is old, but everything is clean. There are 3 bedrooms, but you have to share the toilet and the bathroom. The bedrooms are nicely decorated. Across the street is the metro, Rocafort. From there you can come everywhere in Barcelona. Next time we go to Barca, maybe we go there again.

Mother and 12 yo daughter travelling together. Fantastic location with public transport literally at your door. A bit of a surprise at arrival as we found the address but didn't know which button to push for the B&B (No. 2 I think). The room was clean and tastfully decorated. Don't expect your bed to be made or towels replaced each day, the upside was you got your privacy. We only stayed 3 nights so this was not a problem for us. Do expect constant traffic noise all night (including numerous sirens). Overall good value for money.

Our experience with Granvia 470 was great - it's not a luxury place, but it's exactly what the web said and what we expected - it's a great value accommodation in central Barcelona. The room was cutely decorated, the bathrooms were clean. The only bad part was the bed itself - quite uncomfortable and incredibly squeaky :(

Very nice place to stay if you want to be in the centre of the city(but really in the centre!!)and spending few moneys. You have the Metro just in front but you don't need it cause you can really reach everything by foot.

On one hand: clean but a bit dreary and noisy, unseemly, but functional. On the other hand: Well situated, friendly welcome. Podria estar mejor...

The Gran Via is a great place to stay! With the metro in front of the door. The owner Andreu is also great. He gave us the best directions where to go. The bathroom is shared but did nog give us any problems. The only minor thing is the noise from the road, very loud but bring your earplugs with you and you won't hear a thing!! They want to change the windows but don't know when... Abslolutely a go, The Gran Via!

Iwas in Barcelona for 7 days and my vacacion there was perfect actually it was absolutely wonderful! And the trip was so excellent partly because of the hotel/Bed & Breakfast Granvia 470! The place was like home for us! We loved our room, the building, location, surroundings, the owner of the place and the elevator was absolutely cool!
