Bed and Breakfast Barcino 147 - Barcelona

This was my first stay at the Barcino 147. The staff was very friendly and the overall service was friendly and competent. Breakfast was good with cofffe, cereals and fresh fruits. The location was tidy and quiet and the athmosphere very friendly and comfortable. The staff tried to help with every problem and gave good tips for sight seeing and where to get a good meal. Only negative point is that he room was to small (and with no own bath) for the price charged. But as I was travelling allone and only stayed in the room for the night this was not so much a problem. So I guess the place is good for singles or couples travelling alone without children. Its also a nice place to get in contact with other travellers.

We stayed 6 nights. Ferran & his mates were most welcoming, professional and helpful throughout. An older building on busy street with p/t concierge. Lift access to apartment, where there are several bedrooms(either the ensuite or a shared bathroom - be sure to clarify what you want when you book) + shared FULL kitchen (breakfast provided & you can leave food/drinks in fridge, prepare meal/tea/coffee anytime - useful if with kids). Has character and space - almost 'home away from home' in secure,personalised & convenient location not far from busy tourist areas (we happily walked to Sagrada Familia, Barri Gotic, Harbour, market (don't miss!) etc). Internet available. Spacious, comfortable rooms/beds with warm colours & Spanish prints/touches. Would happily recommend 147 for its friendly ambience & location. More intimate than a hotel; however, one can chose to mix with other guests or to be private. A great base for exploring Barcelona. Enjoy!

Very good decoration, different kinds of food and drink offer, warm welcome and service, close to town and famous sightseeing area.

This B & B is fantastic! the owner (Ferran) welcomes you and gives you all the information about the city, even where to eat! rooms are clean, new and comfortable! B & B is at the center of Barcelona, near Plaza de Catalunya! when I return to Barcelona I will go to him

Ferran (the owner) was very welcoming and helpful. The B&B was very beautifully decorated. It was clean, spacious and warm. We felt right at home. The location was extremely central and walkable to all major sightseeing spots. We would definitely return and have no hesitation recommending it to friends and family.

Staff really helpful, even helping with washing and ironing! beautiful room, apartment and furniture. only thing was having to share a bathroom, but there is only a few rooms you have to share with. great having kitchen where you just help yourself to anything. and massive computer with free internet was so good and handy. great location, really easy to find and get around. there is an elevator which is helpful. just didnt realise the place was in a building with other places, so once you realise where to enter from that's ok. but there were non instructions to do that, but we worked it out. loved staying here and definitely will again next time in barcelona, which we hope isn't too far away cos we loved the place.

The B&B has no signage so it was hard to find, and figure out how to get in from the street, clarification before arrival would have been helpful. The host was wonderful, breakfast was always set out the night before and avaliable for early departures, taxis were called, maps were drawn, restaurants suggested. It was a beautiful home, absolutely stunning, comfortable beds and very safe feeling.
